Services Set Friday For Clerk & Master Kathryn R. Taylor

Kathryn Tayler044Kathryn Renee Taylor, 54, of Jamestown ascended to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 12, 2016, after a brief illness at Vanderbilt Hospital.

A memorial service will be held June 24, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Jamestown Community Center.

Kathryn graduated from York Institute and earned her Business Degree in Marketing from Tennessee Tech University in 1987.  She began work in the Clerk & Master’s Office in 1987.  She continually and faithfully served the Chancery Court and the people of Fentress County as Clerk & Master until her passing.

Kathryn is survived by her mother, Mary W. Taylor of Jamestown; beloved companion and soul mate Greg Mabey; his sons, Chad and Chase of Nashville; brother Kent Taylor and wife Cathy of Nashville, sister, Karen Potter of Jamestown; nieces, Aren Qualls and companion, Harley Hull of Jamestown; Stephanie Ferguson and husband Chris of Sparta; one nephew, Gray Taylor of Nashville; great-nieces Lilly Hull, Ella Ferguson; great nephew Grisham Ferguson; step-nieces and nephews Levi, Liam and Gregory Ferguson, Hannah and Mason Hull; lifelong friend Kimberly Duncan Conatser, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends; her faithful canine companions, Oscar and Sarah, and her Appaloosa horse Scooby Doo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Taylor.
