Rescue Squad Week To Be Observed Week of May 20 through 25

Monday, May 20 through Saturday, May 25 has been designated as Rescue Squad Week in Tennessee, and in conjunction with Rescue Squad Week, the Fentress County Rescue Squad will be conducting their annual Roadblocks on Saturday, May 25  from 6:00 a.m. until noon in Jamestown, Allardt and Clarkrange.

The Fentress County Volunteer Rescue Squad has been serving Fentress County since 1968.  Their functions include vehicle extrication, search and rescue, basic medical response, traffic control and emergency preparedness. They are also involved in the community through various fundraisers.
