Pleas Entered In Criminal Court


Criminal Court convened in Fentress County on Monday, August 11 with Judge Shayne Sexton on the Bench, with twelve guilty pleas entered.

Jason Elmore of 1032 Wright Place Road, Jamestown, pled guilty to the charge of Theft Over $1,000, and was ordered to serve 7 months in jail, plus a 4-year sentence, which was suspended and he was placed on probation for 4 years, and was ordered to make restitution of $500.

Brandy Brown of 1052 Maynard Drive, Grimsley, TN, entered a guilty plea to charges of Facilitation of Sale of Schedule II Controlled Sub-stance, and was ordered to serve 133 days in jail, was sentenced to 4 years, placed on probation for 4 years, was ordered to make $300 restitution, fined $1,000, and was ordered to complete an in-patient drug rehabilitation program.

Randall Wilson of 617 Page Road, Grimsley, TN pled guilty to the charge of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (2 counts,) and was ordered to serve 103 days in jail, was fined $500, was ordered to make restitution of $500, and was placed on probation for 2 years.

Amanda Crabtree of 122 Copley Lane, Jamestown, entered a guilty plea to the charge of Theft Under $500 and was ordered to make $50 restitution, and was placed on probation for one year, to begin after completion of the 11 month/29 day jail sentence she is currently serving.

Evin W. Pyle of 1040 Glenoby Road, Jamestown, pled guilty to the charge of Theft Over $500 and was ordered to make $1,000 restitution, was sentenced to 2 years and placed on probation for 2 years, and was ordered to complete a long-term drug rehabilitation program.

David Brahn of 8 Popcorn Road, Springfield, IN, entered a guilty plea to charges of Forgery (2 counts) and was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, was given a 2-year sentence and placed on probation for 3 years, and was ordered to make restitution of $634.

Ian Gavin of 315 Garrett Street, Jamestown, pled guilty to charges of Statutory Rape (2 counts) and was placed on probation for 6 years.

Michael Warden of 782 Fairgrounds Road, Jamestown, entered a guilty plea to charges of Theft Under $500 (2 counts) and was ordered to serve 55 days in jail, make restitution of $50, and was placed on probation for 2 years.

Theodore Sexton of 3760 Manson Road, Jamestown,  pled guilty to the charge of Theft Over $1,000 and was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, was given a 4-year- sentence and placed on probation for 4 years, and was ordered to complete a long-term drug rehab program and to remain in jail until entered into the program.

Daniel Lee Wood of 483 Blaylock Mountain Road, Cookeville, TN entered a guilty plea to charges of DUI, Vandalism Over $1,000, Vandalism Over $500, and Felonious Evading Arrest.  He was fined $350, had license revoked for one year, was ordered to make restitution of $1,000, was sentenced to 3 years, and placed on probation for 3 years.

Teri King of 125 Ben Pennycuff Road, Jamestown, pled guilty to charges of Accessory After the Fact and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and ordered to serve 45 days in jail, complete a long-term in-patient drug rehab program, and was placed on probation for 2 years.
