One Injured Saturday In Truck Wreck on Hwy. 127

A Leesburg, GA man was seriously injured November 25 in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 127 in the Pall Mall area. (See article for details).

A 46-year-old Georgia man, identified as Zachary Scott Glass, of Leesburg, GA, sustained serious injuries Saturday morning, November 25 on North York Hwy. (Highway 127) near the Upchurch Loop when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and left the road, with his vehicle overturning.

The E-911 Dispatch Center received a call concerning the accident at 10:39 a.m. and units from the Fentress County Sheriff’s Depart-ment, Fentress Co. EMS, Ambulance Service, Fentress County Rescue Squad, Fentress Co. EMA, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Pall Mall Fire Unit 6 were dispatched to the scene where Mr. Glass  was administered emergency medical treatment by personnel from the Fentress County Ambulance Service and then transported  to a landing zone set up  in the field near the York Mill Bridge, from which point he was airlifted to U-T Hospital in Knoxville with what was reported to be multiple injuries.

The 2016 Dodge Dually which Mr. Glass was driving sustained very heavy damage in the accident, which was investigated by Tennessee Highway Patrol Tooper Marty Brown.

Mr. Glass was reportedly issued a citation for Driving on a Suspended License in connection with the accident.
