Pamela Ruth Coffman, age 56, of Jamestown, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 16, 2014.

Mrs. Coffman was  born June 19, 1958 in Morgan County.

Mrs. Coffman is survived by her son, Barry Keith Potter and wife Jennifer of Jamestown; daughter, Amber Nashia Potter of Jamestown; mother, Joyce Orena Potter of Jamestown; grandchildren, Gavin, Braden, Jada, Chloe, Paige and Ethan  all of Jamestown;  sisters,  Judith Mae Howell of Jamestown and Patricia Elaine Lynch and husband Jerry of  Sunbright; brothers,  Clarence Melvin Potter Jr., and wife, Michelle of Banner Springs, Robert Marion Potter and  wife Rita of Lancing, and Bruce Allen Potter and wife Toni of the Frankfort Community; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Coffman was preceded in death by her father,  Clarence Melvin Potter Sr., and sister, Linda Gail Melton.

Mrs. Coffman was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service was held Thursday, September 18, at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Potter officiating.

Schubert Funeral Home of Wartburg, Tennessee was in charge of services.

Patty Nelle Penticuff, age 74, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at Cumberland Medical Center.

Mrs. Penticuff was born September 22, 1939, in Boatland, TN. She worked in health care as a CNA.

Mrs. Penticuff is survived by daughter, Regina Hedgecoth and husband David of Crossville; son, Michael Warden of Crossville; nine grandchildren; Charity, Tabitha, Tameika, Tanisha, Joshua, Tracy, Ernest, Myia Shay and Corbin Ridge; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon, Haley, Ethan, Kaile, Zane, Kobe, Haley, Carter and Madison; brother, Sheldon Franklin and wife Debbie of Jamestown and sister, Louise Bledsoe and husband James of Jamestown.

Mrs. Penticuff was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Melton Franklin; mother, Mildred Eveleyn (Beaty) Franklin; father of her children, Shirley Arnold Warden; sons, Larry Warden and Timmy Warden; grandson, Christopher Micheal Robbins; brother, Edward Sheldon Franklin; and special aunt, Marie Threet.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Edwards officiating. Burial followed in the Bowden Cemetery in Jamestown.

Pallbearers included Mark Ledbetter, Ernest Hedgecoth, Bob Hinds, Jim Bledsoe, Larry Walls and Randel Beaty.

Pauline Beaty Ramsey, age 80, of Grimsley, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Ramsey is survived by daughters, Kathy Edwards and husband Buddy and Jeana Taylor and husband Gerald; son, Danny Ramsey and wife Myra; grandsons, Jason Cravens and wife Brandi, Adam Ramsey and wife Tina, Phillip Ramsey and wife Kristy; granddaughters, Jeni Johnson and husband JR, Beth Hicks and husband David; great-grandsons; Ethan Worley, Brady Cravens, Luke, Bo, Sawyer and Weston Ramsey; great-grandaughters, Bailey Cravens, Jaylee Johnson and Harper Hicks; sisters, Nola Lawson and Flossie Smith and husband Bill; brother, Conley Beaty and wife Maxine.

Mrs. Ramsey was preceded in death by parents, Virgil and Bertha Turner Beaty; husband, Stanley Ramsey; son, Randy Ramsey; sister, Flonnie Smith; and brothers-in-law, Hansel Smith and Lynell Lawson.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Edwards officiating. Burial followed in the Springs Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers included Bruce Smith, Steve Smith, Mike Smith, Mark Smith, Brandon Pray, and Michael Reagon. Honorary pallbearers included Betty Lou Norris, Shirley Bledsoe, Truman and Joanne Creselious, Roger and Brenda Hall, and Scottie and Nancie Gunter.

Pete Tipton, age 78, of Allardt, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Tipton was born October 1, 1935 in Glenoby, TN. He was an auto factory worker with Cadilllac Motors.

Mr. Tipton is survived by wife, Joyce (Wheaton) Tipton of Allardt; daughter, Lynette Bailey and husband Roger of Michigan; son, Darrell Keith Tipton of Michigan; grandchildren, Angela, Jason, Nathan, Emily and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Kristopher, Kaylee and Kaden; sisters, Hilda Barnett of Salt Lake City, UT, Rita Duncan and husband Tony of Wartburg and Sharron Sherril of Michigan.

Mr. Tipton was preceded in death by father, Holley Tipton; mother, Ruby (Delk) Tipton; two sisters, Shirley Allred and Bobbie Tipton.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cross Tie Church in Jamestown, with Bro. Mark Tipton officiating.

Lois L. (Jones) Rich

Lois L. (Jones) Rich, age 87, passed away peacefully August 26, 2014.

Mrs. Rich was born January 31, 1927, to Mary (Napier) and George Jones.

During her early life, she attended school in Hyden, Kentucky, then  went on to attend Lindsey Wilson College where she trained to be a teacher. Upon graduation, she went back to Hyden and taught school in 1946. Her father, George, went to Ohio for work and she went with him. She got a job at Gallard Drug Store, then at Sunshine Biscuit. A friend from Sunshine Biscuit introduced her to Oval Rich from Jamestown, TN. On May 21, 1949 they married, on  July 6, 1950 they had their first son, Stephen. On Dec. 5, 1954, they welcomed their second son, Jeffrey. She later went to work for Monarch Marking.

Mrs. Rich is survived by her husband of 65 years, Oval; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Pam Rich; their sons, Jason and Sean, son Jeffrey and his son, Jeremy and Deni Profitt; great grandsons, Jason II, Jordan, Nolan and Tyler Rich; brother, Larry Jones; sisters, Kathleen Jones, Vernie Morgan, and Virgie Deaton; and many nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Gilbert and brother, Avery Jones.

She was a  kind, caring and compassionate woman, who was taken from us too soon. Rest in peace. You were deeply loved and we will miss you forever.

Funeral services were held August 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), in Kettering, Ohio. Burial followed in Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
