David Baldwin, age 81, of Clarkrange, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Signature HealthCARE of Fentress  County.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by three sons, Dexter Baldwin of Jamestown, David Dwayne Baldwin of West Carrollton, OH and Richard Baldwin of Lima, OH; six grandchildren, Jessica Moore of Huber Heights, OH, Corinne Tofstad of Vandalia, OH, Dwayne Baldwin of St. Louis, MO, Michael Baldwin, Matthew Baldwin, Melissa Baldwin all of West Carrollton, OH; four great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Baldwin; and three sisters, Claudine Dunnaway, Joann Stults and Freda Scurlock.

Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by wife, Junie Baldwin; parents, Rufus and Bessie Norris Baldwin; grandson, Jason Dean Baldwin; and four brothers, Rupert, Amos and Shirley Baldwin and an infant.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Clarkrange Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home.  Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery with military services conducted at grave side.  Pallbearers included Daryl Stepp, Carl Garrett, Randy Scurlock, Larid Baldwin, Kevin Stults, Jeremy Recker, Terry Thompson and Charles Cobble.

Marlin Wayne Beaty, age 71, of Pall Mall, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Mr. Beaty was born November 26, 1941 in Byrdstown, Tennessee.

Mr. Beaty is survived by two daughters, Marlina Lynette Roberson of Henderson, NC and Marsa Lea Riggs and husband Jeff of New Tazewell, TN; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Rosemary Needler of Smyrna, TN and Deanna Kaythren Clark and husband Jack of Albany, KY; two brothers, Lloyd Douglas Beaty and wife Sharon Marie of Cookeville and Wendell Leroy Beaty and wife Ethel Mae of Crossville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Beaty was preceded in death by father, Samuel Douglas Beaty; mother, Ruby Pearl (Amonett) Beaty; son, Marcus Alden Beaty; sister, Minnie Irene Teague; and two brothers-in-law, Don Teague and Jerry Lee Needler.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Charles Dungan officiating.  Burial followed in the Williams Chapel Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Tyler Hobbs, Noah Roberson, Jacob Hobbs, Wayne Hobbs, Tony Beaty, David Delk, Nazario Gomez and Joe Amonett.

Randal Beaty, age 75, of Pall Mall, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Beaty was born June 29, 1938 in Pickett County, Tennessee.  He was an equipment operation at the Rock Quarry.

Mr. Beaty is survived by fiancee, Sue Whittenburg of Pall Mall; and four sisters, Alice Guffey of Anderson, IN, Patsy Singleton of Atwood, TN, Hazel Crawford of Upland, CA and Billie Allen of Huntingdon, TN.

Mr. Beaty was preceded in death by father, Dent Beaty; mother, Nova (Poore) Beaty; wife, Susie Beaty; son, Jerry Beaty; four brothers, Granville Beaty, Elmer Beaty, Franklin D. Beaty and Cecil Beaty; and two sisters, Joann Beaty and Sue Beaty.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings  Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Dixon officiating.  Burial followed in the Williams Chapel Cemetery.  Active pallbearers included Scotty Upchurch, Bethel Beaty, Bobby Duncan, Tim Duncan, Chasta Beaty, Jerry Davidson and Wayne Poore.  Sue Whittenburg served as honorary pallbearer.

Bill Byrd, age 77, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Byrd was born December 30, 1935 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  He was a landscaper.

Mr. Byrd is survived by wife, Ella Jean (Smith) Byrd of Jamestown; daughter, Carol Byrd of Jamestown; three sons, Billy Byrd of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jimmy  Byrd of Nashville and Johnny Roysden of Jamestown; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Wallace Byrd and wife Mary Lou of Greenbrier, TN; and sister, Carol Cole of Hendersonville, TN.

Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by father, Crosier Byrd; mother, Ira (Hunt) Byrd; son, Johnny Byrd; and six brothers, Junior Byrd, Luther Byrd, Harold Byrd, Johnny Byrd, Jerry Byrd and Donnie Byrd.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Rhoad and Bro. Mark Burnett officiating.  Burial followed in the Storie Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Jeffery Byrd, Johnny Roysden, Channon Byrd, Vince Byrd, Jacob Byrd, Pudge Shaver and Jimmy Byrd.

Daniel Stacy Choate, age 51, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Signature HealthCARE of Fentress County.

Mr. Choate was born July 4, 1962 in Fentress County.  He was in the TV sales and repair business.

Mr. Choate is survived by son, Andy Choate of Galveston, TX; two brothers, Mark Choate and Lonnie Choate both of Jamestown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Mr. Choate was preceded in death by father, Amber Choate; mother, Lois (Hinds) Choate; two sisters, Maggie Bowen and Sara Geise; and five brothers, Ralph Choate, Tom Choate, Bradley Choate, Rocky Choate and Joey Choate.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Craig and Bro. Mike Wright officiating.

Ralph D. Crabtree, age 75, of Whitley City, KY, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Mr. Crabtree was born December 19, 1938 in Jamestown, TN.  He was a farmer and worked for the electric company.

Mr. Crabtree is survived by wife, Lorena (Swallow) Crabtree; son, Raven Randy Slaven and wife Patrishia; four daughters, Audrey Lorene Waters and significant other Jamie Bruce, Heather Moore and fiance Chester Taylor, Rosa Leora Sumler and husband Coy Randall and Cassandra Marie CoffeY and husband Josh; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Flossie Blanton, Susie Dishman and Leta Rose Bell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Mr. Crabtree was preceded in death by father, Joseph Crabtree; mother, Hester (Pile) Crabtree; brother, Cullum Crabtree; and two sisters, Shirley Crabtree and Thelma Crabtree.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Amon Taylor and Bro. Scott Corder officiating. Burial followed in the Upchurch Cemetery.

Heather Davis, age 88, of Pickett  County, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Davis was born July 7, 1925 in Pickett County, Tennessee.  She was a real estate-owner.

Mrs. Davis is survived by two daughters, Marchelle Mabry of Bellmore, NY and Regina Davis of New York, NY; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Estel Wood of Jamestown; and sister, Lucille Denning of Huntsville, AL.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by husband, Everett Davis; son, Rickey Davis; father, Chester Wood; mother, Amanda (Hilrith) Wood; and three brothers, Clyde Wood, Paul Wood and John Ray Wood.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Fentress Memorial Gardens with Bro. Al Watkins officiating.

Sue Rae (Beaty) Hamby, age 73, of Crossville, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Hamby was born March 29, 1940 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  She worked as a health care aid and was of the  Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Hamby is survived by daughter, Genia Beaty Hayes of Crossville; four sons, Dwayne Beaty and wife Penny of Oliver Springs, Michael Hamby and wife Becky, Johnny Ray Hamby and wife Gail and Eddie Hamby and wife Aleashea all of Crossville; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hamby was preceded in death by parents, Andy Dayton and Dorothy Elen (Matthews) Beaty; and two brothers, Fred Beaty and Denzil Beaty.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Hatfield and Bro. Vic Davis officiating.  Burial followed in the Rinnie Cemetery.

Aleta Moon Little, age 81, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at Signature HealthCARE of Fentress County.

Mrs. Little is survived by daughter, Penny Thorton and husband Michael; three grandchildren, Matthew Thorton and wife Christinia, Michelle Stewart and husband Stan and Evangeline Greer and husband Anthony; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Little was preceded in death by son, Daryl Eugene Booher.

The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Mr. Lowe was born September 3, 1956.  He was an auto industry assembly line worker.

Mr. Lowe is survived by wife, Linda (Shinkle) Lowe; daughter, Christina Sarge; three grandchildren; mother, Jenetta (Mask) Lowe; sister, Brenda Delk and husband Lynn; brother, Boyd Lowe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.

Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by father, Barney Edward Lowe; and son, Kenny Lowe.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Nance and Bro. Denver Davis officiating.  Burial followed in the Allardt Cemetery.  Active pallbearers included Harvey Wright, Donnie Mask, Leslie Mask, Norman Smith, Bruce Hampton, and Steve Dishmon. Mr. Reagan was preceded in death by father, Blackie Reagan; and brother, Sammie Reagan.

Memorial services were held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jamestown First Church of the Nazarene.

Betty Jean (Brooks) Wright, age 82, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wright was born December 2, 1930 in Armathwaite, Tennessee.  She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Wright is survived by two sons, David Chester Wright and fiancee Wanda Killgore and Derek Brooks Wright and wife Linda; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Brooks and wife Carolyn; and sister, Ella Dean Pittman and husband Kenneth.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by husband, J.L. Wright; father, Ted Brooks; mother, Opal (York) Brooks; two sisters-in law,  Lorene Brooks and Dorothy  Smith; and two brothers-in-law, George Smith and E.J. Wright.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Thad Collier and Bro. Don Padget officiating.  Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.  Active pallbearers included Jonathan Wright, Jason Wright, Danny Smith, Scott McConnell, Ken Pittman and Bobby Brooks.  Honorary pallbearers included R.P. “Chick” Wright, Gene York, Jim Taylor and Jim Kirby.

Mr. Wyatt was born May 24, 1936 in Deer Lodge, Tennessee.  He was in law enforcement and airlines.

Mr. Wyatt is survived by wife, June (Lowhorn) Wyatt; two sons, George Wyatt, Jr. and wife Connie and Danny Howard and wife Beverly; daughter, Kristi Thurman and husband Kenneth; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Albert Wyatt and wife Janie, Tommy Wyatt, Alfred Wyatt and wife Kelly and Ronnie Wyatt and wife Cara; and five sisters, Myrtle Evans and husband Thomas, Mary Roland and husband Bryon, Edna Blaylock and husband Vaughn, Vivian Chaffin and husband Ken and Jenny Yaery and husband Jim.

Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by father, Walter Wyatt; mother, Gladys (Delk) Wyatt, infant son, John Michael Wyatt; brother, Robert Wyatt; and sister, Eula Walker.

Grave side services were held Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Springs Chapel Cemetery.
