Wayne Cargile, age 76, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Cargile was born April 25, 1939 in Rock Creek, TN. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Cargile is survived by wife, Lorene (Rains) Cargile, sons, Jerry Cargile and John Cargile and wife, Della; daughter, Jennie (Cargile) Roysden and husband, Ricky; grandchildren, Megan Roysden, Richard Roysden, April Bradley, Jennifer Bowden and Kimberly Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kiera Bradley, Jackson Bowden and Baby Johannah Johnson; brother, Willard Cargile and wife, Judy; sister, Virginia Brown and husband, Wayne.

Mr. Cargile was preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Cargile; father, Ralph Cargile and mother, Jennie (Patton) Cargile.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daryl Rains and Bro. Earl Sweat officiating. Burial followed in the Taylor Place Cemetery. Pallbearers included John Cargile, Jerry Cargile, Ricky Roysden, Richard Roysden, Scott Cargile and Daryl Rains.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of the services.

Larry Dishmon

Larry Dishmon, age 51, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Dishmon was born April 17, 1964 in Scott Co., TN. He was a care giver.

Mr. Dishmon is survived by wife, Jodi (Hale) Dishmon of Muncie, IN; daughters, Amber Nicole Dishmon of Muncie, IN, Brittany Lynn Dishmon of Muncie, IN and Casey Cheyenne Dishmon of Jamestown, TN; five grandchildren, Chloe, Destiny, Lelynn, Addison and Logan; mother, Virginia Lucille (Terry) Mills of Muncie, IN; special brother, Donald Dishmon of Muncie, IN; twin brother, Gary Dishmon of Muncie, IN; brother, James Dishmon of Muncie, IN; special nephew, Jessie Dishmon of Jamestown; niece and nephew, Karley and Gabriel Dishmon of Muncie, IN.

Mr. Dishmon was preceded in death by father, Arnold Lonzo Dishmon and step-father, Max Mills.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sharp Place Cemetery with Bro. Andy Phipps officiating. Burial followed in the Sharp Place Cemetery.

Linda Hackett

Linda Hackett, age 62, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 19th at her home.

Mrs. Hackett is survived by mother, Wilma Charlene Atkinson, of Knoxville; son, Charles Hackett and wife, Mattie of Knoxville; sister, Carolyn Heinz and husband, Jeff of Knoxville.

Mrs. Hackett was preceded in death by her father, Tony Atkinson; grandparents, Dewey and Ora Beaty, and Martha and Charley Atkinson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23rd in the Meister Memorial 7th Day Adventist Church in the Deer Lodge Community with Pastor Don Pate of Knoxville officiating. Burial followed in the Meister Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers included Tim, Mike and Danny Ramsey, Curtis Pennington, Tim Thompson and Tim Hall. Honorary pallbearers included Chris Matchett, Jerry Human, Jimmy Cook and David Westfelt.

Ruby C. Polson

Ruby C. Polson, age 89, of Galion, OH, formerly of Clarkerange, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Polson is survived by son, Edward (Mike) Polson; daughters, Jayne Moore and Ruth Bowman and husband, Clay; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Polson was preceded in death by husband, Winford Polson; sons, James Lee Polson and Jeff Robinson; parents, Estill and Litha Abrams Fife; brothers, Jim, Clarence and Talmadge Fife; sisters, Violet Umfleet, Wilma Jean Spurlock, Sarah Kindler and Mary Williams.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mundy Funeral Home South Chapel in Clarkrange, with Bro. Lonnie Cook officiating. Burial followed in the Spring Chapel Cemetery.

SSG Jason Alexander Smith, age 31, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Smith was born November 8, 1983 in Cookeville TN. He was in the Military.

Mr. Smith was a member of the Clarkrange National Chess Team 2000, graduate of the class of 2002 Clarkrange High School, and also an Eagle Scout in 2002.

Mr. Smith is survived by father, Dennis E. Smith; mother, Lorene (Jackson) Smith; wife, Chelsea Smith; children, Carson, Zoey, Sydney and Mason Smith; brother, Timothy “Tim” Smith and wife, Brittni; sister, Jennifer Tompkins and husband, Brandon.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard “L.A.” and Merna Smith; and Odell and Lillie Belle Jackson.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the South Fentress Community Park following visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the park. Please bring your favorite item or personal letter in memory of Jason to be placed in a Memorial Vault. Burial of the Memory Vault will be on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 at Shady Grove Cemetery in a private ceremony.
