Jacob “Levi” Choate, age 4, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home.

Levi was born August 7, 2010 in Chattanooga, TN.

Levi is survived by father, John Choate; mother, Heather (Phillips) Choate; brother, Lane Choate; sisters, Charity Choate and Nenah Choate; grandparents, Bobby and Carolyn Choate, and Tony and Christy Phillips, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Cooper Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Cravens officiating. Burial followed in the Choate Family Cemetery. Pallbearers included Bobby Choate, Tony Phillips, Thomas Choate and Jacob Phillips.

Isaac Darrow, age 73, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Darrow was born July 11, 1941 in Fentress Co. He was a saw mill operator.

Mr. Darrow is survived by daughter, Sheila Conatser of Jamestown; son, Richard Darrow and wife, Lisa of Sparta; and granddaughter, Crystal Conatser of Cookeville.

Mr. Darrow was preceded in death by father, Otto Darrow; mother, Nora (Hicks) Darrow; sisters, Mildred Robbins, Thelma Watson and Sylvia Roysdon; and brother, Carl Darrow.

The family has chosen cremation.

Dillard Hicks, age 88, of Jamestown, passed away, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Hospice of Cincinnati.

Mr. Hicks was born June 19, 1926 in Jamestown, TN. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Hicks is survived by sons, Allen Mitchell Hicks and wife, Janet of Lebanon, OH, James Richard Hicks and fiancee, Cheryl Dennis; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Winningham of Deer Lodge, TN and Margaret Huff and husband, Bear of Pall Mall, TN.

Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by wife, Mildred (Cunningham) Hicks; father, Arthur Lee Hicks; mother, Hattie (Hoover) Hicks; brothers, Elmer Hicks and James Alden Hicks.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Oney Wright officiating. Graveside Military Service provided by American Legion Post #137. Burial was in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Billy Lackey, Danny Ray Huff, Brandon Osborne, Rick Hutton, Jessie Hicks, and Bill Huff. Honorary pallbearers included Roger Huff and Darrel Huff.

Ira Scott

Ira Scott, age 77, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Scott was born November 28, 1937 in Jamestown, TN. He was a timber cutter.

Mr. Scott is survived by wife, Bessie (Leffew) Scott of Jamestown; brother, Jay Scott and wife, Hazel of Jamestown; sister, Wanda Nester and husband, Bill of Willard, OH; sister-in-law, Helen Loftis; other family, Dooley and Grace Choate, Mickey and Samantha, Tyler and Mikey Brown, Misty, Reese and John, Brenda and Krystal Blevins; special friend, Hugh Manis; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by father, Caster Scott; mother, Ola (Reagan) Scott; brothers, Billy Scott, and Robert Scott; and sisters, Helen Cass, Judy Cross and Betty Hively.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammie Dunford officiating. Burial followed in the Wolf River Cemetery in Pall Mall, TN. Pallbearers included Ricky Leffew, Dean Leffew, Ricky Hayes, Roger Leffew, Mike Brown, and Gary Reagan. Honorary pallbearers included Mickey Brown and J. D. Watson.
