Dorothy Asberry, age 70, of Allardt, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Asberry was born February 10, 1945 in Fentress Co., TN. She was a factory worker.

Mrs. Asberry is survived by husband, Jerry Asberry of Allardt; three sons, Dale Asberry and wife, Wanda of Jamestown, Gary Asberry and wife, Maggie of Morgan Co., and Bud Asberry of Jamestown; daughter, Peggy Epperson of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Amanda, Damian, Jonathan and Destiny; brother, Gary Tinch of Allardt; sister, Sharron Hatmaker and husband, Elbert of Allardt and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mrs. Asberry was preceded in death by father, Martin Tinch; mother, Lorine (Gentry) Tinch; daughter, Patricia Asberry; brothers, Eugene Tinch, Odel Tinch, Oneil Tinch, Glen Tinch and Ronnie Tinch and sister, Wilma Tinch.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Hicks and Bro. Sammie Dunford officiating. Burial followed in the Allardt Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jonathan Asberry, Elbert Hatmaker, Keith Byrd, David Asberry, Johnny South, and Larry A. Conatser.

Kathy (Kitty) Pullins Beaty, age 60, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at the home of her son in Cookeville, TN.

Mrs. Beaty is survived by son, Tim Beaty and wife, Shannon; brother, Truman and Janice Pullins; sisters, Reba and Wallace Hull, Janie and Tommy Beaty, Frona and Frank Davis, and Nona and Jerry Range.

Mrs. Beaty was preceded in death by parents, Willis and Alma Turner Pullins; brother, Norman Duck Pullins and sister, Barbara Pullins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Raymond Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers included Frank Davis II, Brandon Beaty, Wayne Beaty, Tristan Pyle, Pacey Pyle, Charles Beach, Dustin Range and Tim Beach.

Gretta Brannon, age 63, of the Armathwaite Community, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Brannon was born February 25, 1952 in Fentress Co. TN. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brannon is survived by son, Blease Dale Brannon II and wife, April of Crossville; two grandchildren, Danielle Brannon and Breanna Beaty; two sisters, Wilma Gilreath and husband, Jake of Clarkrange, and Sue Stephens and husband, Boyd of the Red Hill Community and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Brannon was preceded in death by husband, Blease Brannon, Sr.; daughter, Anna Marie Brannon-Beaty; father, Claude C. Adkins and mother, Ollie Marie (Beaty) Adkins.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnathan Beaty officiating. Burial followed in the Springs Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers included Blaine Brannon, Roland Norman, Mike Beaty, Chris Beaty, Tuck Beaty, Mike Stewart, and Charlie Ledbetter. Honorary pallbearers included Rod Upchurch, Rob Martin, Tim Goad and Dr. D.N. Joshi.

Beatrice Reagan Choate, age 91, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 in the Signature Health Care in Jamestown.

Mrs. Choate is survived by son, Doyle Choate and wife, Rebecca; sister, Neva Foster; four grandchildren, Derek Choate, Dwinn Terry, Deleah Roysdon and husband Eric and Leslie Choate; four step-grandchildren, Jacob West and wife, Omega, Tyler West, Erica West and Ashley Riddle; five great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Reagan Copley and Pauline Reagan; daughter-in-law, Valerie Choate Stone and husband Ronald; other survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Mrs. Choate was preceded in death by husband, Lonzie Ray Choate; parents, George and Mary Beaty Reagan; son, Wallace Choate; daughter -in-law, Donna Winningham Choate; brother-in-law, Nolan Foster; brothers, Void (Blackie) Reagan and Lloyd Reagan; and great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Roysdon.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Allardt First Baptist Church with Bro. Daryl Rains and Bro. Andy Cope officiating. Burial followed in the Storie Cemetery. Pallbearers included David Young, Tyler West, Derek Choate, Eric Roysdon, Michael Reagan, and Jacob West. Honorary pallbearers included Gary Reed, Eddie Parker, Philip Hall, James Tompkins, Ronald Stone, Don Copley and long time friends, Ada Williams, Betty Voiles, Ollie Campbell, Ruby Crabtree, Ruth Ann Rosenbaum, and Edna Rosenbaum.

Lynn Conner, age 66, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 in the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Conner is survived by wife, Wanda Conner; sons, Jeff Conner and wife, Cherish and Andy Linder; daughter, Rhonda Snell; brother, Glen Conner; sister, Susie Sartain; six grandchildren, Jordan, Chandler, Kaylynn, Ethan, Evan and Steven; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Maxton.

Mr. Conner was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Eva Pennycuff Conner; brother, Leland Conner; sisters, Zola Crabtree and Peggy Jean York.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Fletcher Upchurch and Sister Darlene Shadrick officiating. Dorothy Ann Crabtree, age 71, was born on July 11, 1943 in Fentress County, TN to Johnny and Edna Hood and passed away on March 13, 2015 in Crossville, TN. Being a homemaker is what she loved to do and gardening was one of her passions.

She is survived by her sons, Wolford Wayne Crabtree, Arnold Edward Crabtree (Keri), and William Ross Crabtree; daughters, Lois F. Phillips (David), Deborah J. Sherrill (Fred), and Donna L. Iles (Abe); grandchildren, Michael Crabtree (Jennifer), Lisa Rodriguez (Gabi), Adam Crabtree, Daniel Crabtree, Joshua Crabtree, Matthew Crabtree, Destiny Crabtree, Laci Flynn, Logan Sherrill, Kyle Sherrill (Jessica), DJ Crabtree, Colton Crabtree, Kayde Crabtree, Cody Iles, and Ashley Keagle; great grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Alena Rodriguez, Erica Pugh,  Kameron Sherrill, Briggs Corum, Alexa Becker, Riley Crabtree, McKenzie Crabtree, and Sophia Crabtree; brothers, Arnold Hood (LaDonna), Billy Hood, and Layton Hood (Loretta); and sister, Nadine Hunnicutt( Bill).

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Hood, Jr. and Edna Etter Smith Hood, Mabel Edwards, Marie Hayes, Katherine Myers, Lois Kenney, Johnny Hood, Ross Hood and David Hood.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Martha Washington Cemetery in Fentress County.

Dairl (Mustang) Garrett, age 73, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN.

Mr. Garrett is survived by daughters, Pennie Delk and husband, Mike and Stephanie Gurley; son, Geebie Whited; step-children, Melinda Garrett and husband, Bill, Ronnie Taylor, Terry Taylor and Heather Hall; grandchildren, Michaela (Punkins) Warden, Mikey Delk, Matthew Delk, Christy Taylor and several step-grandchildren.

Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Lucille Draughn Garrett; son, Greg Garrett; step-children, Vickie Leffew and Amber Taylor; sisters, Linda Garrett and Linnett Garrett.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12 noon at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Darwin Nance officiating. Burial followed in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers included Mikey Delk, Matt Delk, Jimmy Terry, Ronnie Taylor, Terry Taylor, and Bill Garrett.

Mrs. Jones was born January 20, 1964 in Jamestown. She worked  in construction as a painter.

Mrs. Jones is survived by daughter, Crystal Taylor Wade; two grandchildren; father, Eugene Jones and wife, Jackie; mother, Stella (York) Jones-Rude; three sisters, Rita Jones-Moles and husband, Rickie, Rebecca Astemborski and husband, James and Janette Van-Voorst; four brothers, Dewey Jones and wife, Misty, Eric Jones and wife, Tiffany, Jay Van-Voorst and Jerry Van-Voorst.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by brother, James Van-Voorst.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John B. Mullinix officiating. Burial followed in the Taylor Place Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born May 20, 1942 in Jamestown, TN.

Miss Smith is survived by sisters, Lois Hinds and husband, Harlie of Columbus, IN and Shirley Keys of Soddy Daisy, TN; and brother, William O. Smith of Pennsylvania.

Miss Smith was preceded in death by father, LaFayette Fate Smith; mother, Mary E. (Beaty) Smith; brothers, Bertie Smith, Noah Smith, Elijah Smith, Lester Smith, Junior Smith, Delbert Ray Smith and Andrew Glenn Smith; sisters, Lora Shores and Mittie Stephens.

Stephens of Jamestown and Jacob Stephens and Ashley Jenkins of Jamestown; granddaughter, Makena Stephens; mother, Louise Spisiak of Beckley, WV; mother-in-law, Linda Stephens of Jamestown; two brothers, Glen Blankenship of Beckley, WV and Russell Blankenship of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Narissa Lowe and husband Michael of Jamestown; niece, Lindsey; nephew, Logan and a host of other family and friends.
