Stephanie DiDiego, age 29, of Great Lakes, IL, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL.

Mrs. DiDiego is survived by husband, Brian DiDiego of Great Lakes, IL; son, Evan DiDiego of Great Lakes, IL; daughter, Sophie DiDiego of Great Lakes, IL; mother, Judy Cooper Draughn of Algood, TN; sister, Misty Smith and husband, David of Algood, TN

Mrs. DiDiego was preceded in death by father, Dwayne Draughn; grandparents, Ruthie Hurst and Everett and Eva Draughn.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 19, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mundy Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Geren officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Helen Cemetery. Pallbearers included William Robbins, J.T. Cooper, Keith Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Chris Watson, Kenny Cooper, Jerret Reagan and David Reagan. Honorary pallbearers included Christopher DiDiego, Paul DiDiego, Anthony DiDiego and David Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that gifts be made for the future education of her children. Gifts may be left at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown or sent to 109 Covey Run Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mary Magaline Harris, age 77, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Harris was born July 10, 1937 in Fentress County, TN. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Harris is survived by sons, James Harris and wife, Charlene of Jamestown and Jerry Harris and wife, Patty of Jamestown; daughters, Sue Winningham and husband, Jerry of Jamestown, Ann Conatser and husband, Cosby of Jamestown, and Virginia Crabtree and husband, Junior of Jamestown; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Cleveland Creselious of Jamestown; sister, Nellie Miller of Jamestown and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by father, Frank Creselious; mother, Alice (Swafford) Creselious; and daughter, Diane Harris.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Denver Davis officiating. Burial followed in the Livingston Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jerry Harris, Frankie Conatser, C.J. Conatser, Travis Winningham, Junior Crabtree, Curtis Cravens, Derek Harris and Jeremy Harris.

Mike Richards

Mike Richards, age 67, of Clarkrange, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the V.A. Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Richards is survived by wife, Kaye Richards of Clarkrange; special nephew, Larry Michael Poston of Clarkrange; mother-in-law, Berxie York of Clarkrange; brother, Troy Richards of Kokomo, IN; sisters, Hazel Billingsly of Cookeville, TN, Kay McElhone of Kokomo, IN, Polly Tollett of Kokomo, IN, Sue Blackwell of Kokomo, IN, and Brenda South of Madisonville, TN; sisters-in-law, Reba Morgan Smith and Louise Poston of Clarkrange; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mr. Richards was preceded in death by parents Albert and Bessie Ramsey Richards; brother, Gene Richards; brothers-in-law, Ralph Billingsly, Bud Tollett, Don Blackwell, and Ray McElhone.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home in Clarkrange with Bro. Marty Shelton officiating. Burial followed in the Greene Acres  Cemetery with a military service. Pallbearers included Greg Smith, Jordan Brewer, Wes McDonald, Justin Boots, Brian Melton and Bert Wyatt. Honorary pallbearer was Larry Michael Poston.

Bailey Slaven, Jr., age 78, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center.

Mr. Slaven was born May 25, 1937 in Sharp Place, Tennessee. He was a stone mason.

Mr. Slaven is survived by daughter, Sandi Smith and husband, Joseph of Mount Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Sommer and Kori; great-grandchild, Ashton; sisters, Helen Scarbrough of Crossville, Betty Pierce of Allardt and Edith Williams of Gordonsville, TN; companion, Chris Crabtree; mother of his children, Peggy Wright Slaven of Jamestown; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Mr. Slaven was preceded in death by his father, Bailey Slaven, Sr.; mother, Edna (Ipock) Slaven; grandson, Seth Smith; sisters, Mary Odum, Rosie Phillips, Bessie Linder and one infant sister.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Hicks officiating. Burial followed in the Sharp Place Cemetery. Pallbearers included Joseph Smith, Johnny Wheeler, Todd Bright, Craig Wheeler, Gary Pierce and Jimmy Burns.

Dawn Wright

Dawn Wright, age 45, of Grimsley, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wright is survived by husband, Richard Wright of Grimsley; mother, Edaline Jones of Grimsley; sons, Joshua Jones of Grimsley, and Dakota Wright and wife, Haleigh of Crossville; daughter, Tiffany Wright of Jamestown; granddaughter, Abigail Stephens; brothers, Benson Jones of Crossville and Thomas Jones of Nashville.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by daughter, Brittany Wright.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Chapel Cemetery in Banner. Bro. Leo Campbell officiated.

Rose WrightROSE Orena WRIGHT

Rose Orena Wright, 75, of Hagerstown, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Reid Hospital, in Richmond.

She was born in Jamestown, TN on January 1, 1940 to Gilbert and Myrtle (Conatser) Stephens.  She lived most of her life in the Hagerstown area.

Rose was active with the Nettle Creek Senior Center and was a member of American Legion Post 333 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her son, Doug Wright (Cinnamon) of Connersville; two grandsons, Wade Wright and Mitch Wright; seven siblings, Mary Catherine Delk, Mayzell Ritter, Evelene Hembree, Elma Rean Ward, Philous Stockton, Lois Reagan and Charles Stephens, all of Jamestown, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkie Wright, in 1999 and four siblings, Thelma Stephens, Roger Ray Stephens, Roy Renvo Stephens and James Rolin Stephens.

Private services were held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 20  at Culberson Funeral Home chapel in Hagerstown.  Pastor Paul Gearhardt officiated.  Burial was in Jacksonburg Cemetery.

Howard G. York, age 76, of Muncie, passed away unexpectedly at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, IN.

Howard was born in Jamestown, TN  May 26th, 1939 to his late parents, John Henry and  Artha (Cravens) York. He graduated high school from York Institute. He worked for the Muncie Warehouse,  Indiana Bridge Company, until its closing and went to work and retired in 2002 from Borg Warner. He attended church at  New Hope Church in Muncie and Yorktown Church of the Nazarene.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Howard loved to fish, and enjoyed the fish fry’s and large family gatherings.

He is survived by the love of his life, Carolyn York, of 42 years; one son, Scott Cox of Yorktown; one brother, Jerry York and wife, Virginia of Muncie; three sisters, Matilda Crabtree and husband, Roger of Daleville, Betty Rhyme of Clemson, SC and Shirley Majeroni of Topeka, KS; four grandchildren, Brandon Cox and wife, Kimiko, Andrew Cox, Abigal Cox and Shelby Cox; three special great-granddaughters, E’va, Addisyn and Charli; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Greg Cox; brother, Odell W. York; two sisters, Stella Mae Bowmer and Nell Tidwell Copley.

A Celebration of Howard’s Life was held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Gant Funeral Home, Yorktown Chapel with Pastor  Anthony Harris officiating.  Burial and Military honors followed in the Elm Ridge Cemetery, west of Muncie.      

Military Honors provided by U.S. Army and the Veteran’s of Delaware County.
