Alice Mae Forrest (Greer), formerly of Pall Mall, TN, called Bradenton, FL home, passed away in Omaha, NE.

Mrs. Forrest is survived by son, Charles (Sherry) Forrest; four grandchildren, Tracey (TJ) Thompson of Tallahassee, FL, Ryan (Kristi) Forrest and Eric (Rachel) Forrest of Omaha, Kevin (Sunny) Forrest of Grand Island, NE; four great-grandchildren, Stephanie (Justin) Barfield and Lindsey Thompson of Savannah, GA, Charlotte and Michelle Forrest of Grand Island, NE.

Mae donated her body to the Nebraska Anatomical Board.  No service by request.

Eunice A. Hall (Beaty), 81, of Elyria went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 25, 2014 at New Life Hospice in Lorain following a lengthy illness.  She was born October 7, 1932 in Jamestown, TN and has been a Lorain County resident for 58 years.

Eunice was employed by the Elyria School System as a Lunch Monitor.  She was a member of East Broad Street Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and canning time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hall is survived by daughters Sandra L. “Sandy” Ledbetter of Jamestown, TN and Kimberly “Kim” Linden (John) of Elyria; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; brothers Charles, Clay, and Gene Beaty of TN; Louie Beaty of KY; sisters Joyce Kerst and Jewell Terry of TN; sister-in-law Lucille Hassler of TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Hall; daughter Pam Miles; parents Elbert and Dora Ellen (Hall) Beaty; sisters Edith King and Opal Crabtree; brother Lowell Beaty.

Friends may call 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday, January 29 and 10-11am Thursday at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria.  Funeral service will be 11am Thursday at the funeral home.  Brother  Oney Wright will officiate.  Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.



Letha (Beaty) Little, age 92, of Clarkrange, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Little was born December 22, 1921 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  She was a US Postal Worker.

Mrs. Little is survived by two sons, Joe Little and wife Brenda and Lee Little and wife Karen both of Clarkrange; two daughters, Patricia Martin and husband David of Hermitage, TN and Kaye Winningham and husband Darrell of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda “Tootsie” Price of Jamestown; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mrs. Little was preceded in death by husband, J.M. Little; father, Pat Beaty, mother, Mable (Conatser) Beaty; and two brothers, Kenneth Beaty and  Guy Beaty.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Clarkrange United Methodist Church with Bro. Ray Hartman and Sister Kathy Bowles officiating.  Burial followed in the Clarkrange Cemetery.  Active pallbearers included Brian Martin, Patrick Little, Joey Little, Doug Little, Ray Beaty and George Beaty.  Honorary pallbearers included Kim Baldridge, Darya Murk, Leann Turner and Ruble Beaty.

Paul Edward Price, age 62, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Price was born November 6, 1951 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  He was an auto body worker.

Mr. Price is survived by wife, Betty (Davenport) Price of Jamestown; three daughters, Shasta Crawford and husband Michael of Crossville, Tiffany Brown and David Harris and Susan Asberry both of Jamestown; two sons, Stacy Price and wife Sherry and Tony Price both of Jamestown; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Gene Price and wife Marie of Jamestown; sister, Georgia (Price) Pantel and husband Don of Cookeville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by father, Willie Oscar Price; mother, Susie Ray (Wisner) Price; five brothers, Lyle Price, Bobby Price, H.B. Price, Ottis Price and Junior Price; and two sisters, Fannie Morgan and Genger Price.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Alfred Byrd and Bro. Chester Rhoad officiating.  Burial followed in the Taylor Place Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Ronnie Choate, Wade Choate, Dean Hunt, Wendall Duncan, William Brown, Ted Hall, Danny Hall, Tony Slaven, Michael Crawford and Charles Kirby.

Troy Riley, age 48, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center.

Mr. Riley was born December 21, 1965 in Pall Mall, Tennessee.  He was a nurse.

Mr. Riley is survived by special friend, Mark Faryniak of Nashville; two aunts, Juanita Stinson and Rita Slaven both of Pall Mall; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Mr. Riley was preceded in death by father, Otto Riley; and mother, Marrann (Upchurch) Riley.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Travisville Methodist Church with Bro. Larry Campbell officiating.  Burial followed in Williams Chapel Cemetery in Pickett County, TN.  Pallbearers included Eddie Stinson, Terry Stinson, Bobby Wayne Slaven, Jonathan Slaven, Johnny Anderson and River Anderson.

Bessie Marie Rich Wallen, age 99 went to be with the Lord, January 13, 2014.

Mrs. Wallen is survived by four daughters, Faye (Phil) Six of Zephyrhills, FL, Deane (Tom) Herma of South Bend, IN, Linda (Mark) Wallen of Pittsburgh, PA and Anita Voss of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Jeff (Bonnie) Six, Vicki (Todd) Muffley, Kevin (Wendy) Herma, and Casey Drodge; and eight great- grandchildren.

Memorial services were held  Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Florida



Zora M. Whited, age 90, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Whited was born September 8, 1923 in Wayne County, Kentucky.  She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Whited is survived by son, Arnold Slagle of Kokomo, IN; daughter, Helen Edwards of Wayne Co., KY; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Whited was preceded in death by husband, David Whited; father, Manuel Crabtree; mother, Mertie (Jones) Crabtree; two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Walker officiating.  Burial followed in the Sharp Place Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Bobby Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Jared Fairchild; Homer Slagle, Mike Parmley and Arthur Crabtree.
