(MCCOY) NEAL

Nancy Hattie (McCoy) Neal, age 81, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Neal was born on February 22, 1932. She was the fifth of thirteen children born to Charles and Amanda (Smith) McCoy.  She was a member of Plateau Road Baptist Church. In addition to being a beautiful singer, she was also a wonderful cook and an avid gardener.

Mrs. Neal is survived by husband of 65 years,  Huel S. Neal; four sons, Charles, Gary, Larry, and Mike Neal; two daughters, Linda (Neal) Tabor and Carol (Neal) Carney; a caring mother-in-law to Rhonda (McCurry), Kathy (McCoy), and Lisa (Gallina) Neal, Donnie Tabor, and Lee Carney; fifteen grandchildren, Keyvan, Ronald, Lewis, Randy, Bethany, John, Devon, and Marissa Neal, Steve Tabor, Valorie (Neal) White, Lori (Neal) Freitag, Tiffany (Tabor) Dyhr, Leslie (Neal) Elmore, and Catherine and Christen Carney; sixteen great-grandchildren, Kalel, Morgan, Braden, Alexandria, Conner, Molly, Levi, and Elisha Neal, Neal and Madison White, Roxana and Andrew Tabor, Sienna Howe, and Alyiah, Mandie, and David Sanders.

Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her parents; eleven of her siblings; and one grandson, Randy Neal.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home.  Burial followed in the Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Bilbrey Funeral Home of Crossville, Tennessee was in charge of arrangements.

 

 

Mae StiltnerMAE STILTNER

Mae Stiltner, age 90, of Allardt, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Stiltner is survived by three daughters, Betty Bevins, Julie King and Marie Suttles; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stiltner was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Cosby Sheets Trivett; husband, Burl Stiltner; son, Roger Stiltner Sr. and his wife Flo Stiltner; and two brothers, J.D. Trivett and Sonny Trivett.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Wood and Bro. John Robbins officiating.  Burial followed Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Bluefield, VA.

Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.

 

 

 

Arvil WinninghamARVIL LYNN WINNINGHAM

Arvil Lynn Winningham, age 68, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Winningham was born July 4, 1945 in Fentress County, Tennessee.  He was a truck driver.

Mr. Winningham is survived by son, Bruce Winningham of Detroit, MI; step-son, Jeff Hicks of Jamestown; mother of his children, Leeta Hicks of Jamestown; two brothers, Jerry Winningham and wife Sue and Lawrence Winningham both of Jamestown; four sisters, Ella Mae Winningham, Cecile Blair and husband Frank, Brenda Taubert and husband Roger and Teresa (Winningham) Harty all of Jamestown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Winningham was preceded in death by father, Henry A. Winningham; mother, Mary (Smith) Winningham; brother, Perry Winningham; and infant twin brother, Sherman Winningham.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Sammie Dunford officiating.  Burial followed in the Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan County, Tennessee.  Pallbearers included Jerry Winningham Jr., Travis Winningham, Brian Taubert, Jeff Hicks, Michael Blair, Bruce Winningham, Roger Taubert and Chris Strunk.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.

Ruth Carol (Crouch) Yoakum, age 78, of Allardt, passed away, Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Yoakum is survived by children, Carolyn and Spunky Hill of Oakdale, Diane Robinette of Coalfield and Micheal Goad of Traverse, FL;  step-children, Bruce Yoakum, Jr. and Joey Yoakum; grandchildren,  Wayne and Janet Hill of Oakdale, Charles Hill of Oakdale, Marty Human of Knoxville, Amber Robinette of Coalfield, Sara, Shelly and Mike of FL; sisters,  Sharon Tamayo and husband Manual of Joliet, IL, Estelene Hamby and husband John of Burrville, Judy Hamby and husband Bill of Burrville, Mary Alice Jones and husband Junior of Mossy Grove, Betty Smith and husband Walter of Jamestown, Martha LaRue and husband Johnny of South Carolina and Ollie Kay Crouch of Burrville; brothers,  Earl Crouch of New Lebanon, OH, Steve Dalton and wife Gale of Burrville, Johnny Crouch, Paul Crouch and wife Kay, Jimmy Crouch, and Sammy Crouch; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Mrs. Yoakum was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Yoakum; daughter, Shirley King; son Bobby King; father, Denton Crouch; mother, Edith Dalton; step-father, Estel Dalton; brothers, Harold Crouch, Fred Young, Travis Young and Jackie Crouch; and sister, Eva J. Morgan.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Schubert Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Webb officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Burrville.

Schubert Funeral Home of Wartburg, Tennessee was in charge of services.
