Jackie E. Anderson, age 56, of Attica, IN, passed away at LaFayette on Monday, August 10, 2015 following a short bout with cancer.

He was the son of the late Edgar and Frances M. Anderson. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Harrison Steel Company from 1979 until 2015. He was a furnace foreman. He loved the outdoors and he liked to collect guns.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda; three sons, Jackie Jr. Anderson and David Anderson of Attica, and Brady Stocker, U.S. Army; daughters, Amanda Jones, and Katherine Smith; five brothers, Harry Anderson of Jamestown, Benny Anderson of Missouri, Cliff (Donna) of Jamestown, Joe (Linda) Anderson of Jamestown, Halk (Kim) of Attica; four sisters, Joan (Jim) Martin of Leesburg, IN, Julie (Ron) Reed of Fort Wayne, IN, Kay Hyso of Muncie, IN, and Mary Anderson of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Willie Roy and David Anderson and sister, Margaret Anderson.

Harvey M. Brandenburg, age 73, of Allardt, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Brandenburg was born November 9, 1941 in Silver Lake, Indiana. He was a carpenter.

Harvey went to meet the Lord. He was a longtime member of the Order of the Moose and the American Legion. He was a self-employed carpenter, electrician and plumber with a love of remodeling houses and building garages. He loved his twenty-five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brandenburg is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn (Kidder) Brandenburg of Allardt; sons, Michael Brandenburg and wife, Bea of Green Acres, Fl, and Matthew Brandenburg of Warsaw, IN; step-son, B.L. Mosley of Mackinac Island, MI; daughters, Michelle Elder and husband, Robin of Warsaw, IN, Stacey Euwing and husband, Scott of Ontario, Canada, and Carrie Aaron-Moerhke and husband, Charles of Cary, NC; twenty-five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Emery Brandenburg and wife, Carole of Warsaw, IN and Jerry Brandenburg and wife, Susie of Mishawaka, IN; sisters, Betty Deaton of South Whitley, IN, Marjorie Ellenberger of Sidney, IN and Helen Huffman of Columbia City, IN.

Mr. Brandenburg was preceded in death by father, Emery Brandenburg; mother, Edna (Floor) Brandenburg and son, Mark Brandenburg.

The family chose Cremation with a Memorial Service at a later date.

“Buddy” James Franklin Delk, age 75, of Jamestown,  passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Signature HealthCare of Fentress Co.

Mr. Delk was born May 1, 1940 in Jamestown, TN. He worked in maintenance at Pickett State Park.

Mr. Delk is survived by sisters, Dean Bowmer and Maxine Watson both of Jamestown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Delk was preceded in death by father, James Columbus Delk; mother, Mandy (Upchurch) Delk; sisters, Pauline Easterly, Grace Howell, and Charlene Hancock.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Perry Delk officiating. Burial followed in the Wolf River Cemetery in Pall Mall, TN. Pallbearers included Donald Winningham, Richard Winningham, Jamey Shaver, Darrell Crouch, Tim Howell, and Gabriel Voiles. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Matthews and Ed Daniels.

Roy Ellis Gentry, age 83, of Clarkrange, TN, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Signature HealthCare of Fentress Co.

Mr. Gentry was born October 15, 1931 in Fentress Co., TN. He was a farmer.

Mr. Gentry is survived by daughters, Sue Johnson and husband, Danny of Clarkrange and Linda Stephens of Jamestown; sons, James Larry Gentry and wife, Dee of Rocky Face, GA and Roger Dale Gentry of GA; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by wife, Justine (South) Gentry; father, Jessie Herbert Gentry; mother, Emma (Hoover) Gentry; sister, Loraine Tinch and brother, Ronnie Gentry.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Jennings Funeral Home Clarkrange Chapel with Bro. James Haynes officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesville Cemetery in Fentress County. Pallbearers included Larry Gentry, Roger Gentry, Jason Gentry, Jeremy Gentry, Danny Johnson, Dan Johnson, and David Hall.

Jeff Winningham, age 54, of Bradenton, FL and formerly of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice Inc.

Mr. Winningham was born December 2, 1960 in Jamestown, Tennessee. He was a Hwy. Dept. Supervisor for the State of Florida.

Jeff was an active member and involved in his church, Manatee Baptist Church and President of Manatee Chapter of Gideons International. He helped feed the homeless and those who came to the food pantry. He loved Tampa Bay Rays Baseball and University of Tennessee Sports and deer hunting.

Mr. Winningham is survived by wife, Geneva (Johnson) Winningham of Bradenton, FL; son, SPC. Jacob Eugene Winningham of Fort Meade, MD; step-son, ST. SGT. Christopher Wilson and wife, Nicki, of Fort Bragg, NC; daughter, Jessie K. Winningham of Bradenton, FL; step-daughter, Misty Wilson Torino and husband, David of Bradenton, FL; six step-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Winningham and wife, Colleen of Jamestown; sisters, Lois Conatser and husband, Gary of Jamestown, Linda Winningham and Leta Dalton and husband, Michael of Jamestown; also a host of nieces and nephews that he grew up with, great nieces and nephews and special friends David Howard, Luther Byrd, Gary (Pen neck) Cooper, Eric Cravens, Brother Steve Aaron, Chuck Miser, Ed Giddens, Don White and  Sam Stacy, Joe Fouracer, and Skip Mahone.

Mr. Winningham was preceded in death by father, Ernest Eugene Winningham; mother, Mozelle (Peters) Winningham; brother, James “Pig” Winningham; and four infant siblings.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Duncan and Bro. Steve Aaron officiating. Burial followed in the Taylor Place Cemetery. Pallbearers included Luther Byrd, Gary Cooper, Eric Cravens, Bruce Winningham, Jim Winningham, Eddie Conatser, Ernie Winningham, Eric  Winningham, Jered Winningham, and Darrell Russell. Honorary pallbearers were David Howard, Dr. David Dean, Michael Dalton, Gary Conatser, Frankie Campbell, Stacy Watson, Tony Delk, Ronnie Crabtree, Lynn Whited, Dale Flowers, Ricky Fowler, James Patton, Ray Bow, Larry Ward, Zeb Threet and Chase Watson.
