Jeremy Brannon, age 43, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Brannon was born February 16, 1972 in Jamestown. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Brannon is survived by mother, Mary Maxine (Veal) Brannon; fiancee, Angela Gillespie; daughter, Tonya Gillespie; son, Dustin Gillespie; brothers, Jeff Brannon and Joe Brannon; half-brothers, Jim Brannon and Johnnie Brannon.

Mr. Brannon was preceded by father, James Glenis Brannon; sister, Julie Pendergrass and half sister, Ann Childers.

The family has chosen cremation with a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.

Marsum “Poke” Davis, age 91, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Davis was born September 6, 1923 in Yager, KY. He worked in the steel industry.

Mr. Davis is survived by wife, Thelma (Tindall) Davis, sons, Roy Davis and wife Sandy, Mark Davis and wife Peggy and John Davis and wife Chelsea; daughter, Alma Jane James; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Davis; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Hester Hall; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by father, Jim Davis; mother, Celia (Bartley) Davis; son, Jim Andrew Davis and brothers and sisters, Farie, Sanal, Glesson, Ilene and Andrew.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daryl Rains officiating. Burial followed in the Allardt Cemetery. Pallbearers included Rachel Davis, Roy Davis, Reva Davis, Lucas Davis, Joe Davis, Eric Davis, Douglas Davis, and Nick Griskenas-Miculinis.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of the services.

 Pauline Hayes, age 80, of the Double Top Community, passed away March 20, 2015 at the home of her son, David Hayes, in Okemos, Michigan.

Pauline Hayes was born on King Mountain, outside Jamestown to Jasper and Effie Cooper.  Mrs. Hayes spent many years in the Food Service before retiring and returning to Jamestown were she spent the last 24 years of her life. She enjoyed going to church, praying for her family and others, listening to country music and spending time  with numerous family members whom she nutured, loved and cherished dearly. She enjoyed when her children and their families visited. She would cook food enough for an army. Her cinnamon rolls were legendary. She enjoyed growing roses, especially Lincoln roses. She loved to read. She enjoyed going to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood with her husband. She loved to sit on her front porch.

Preceding Mrs. Hayes in death were her husband Marion D. Hayes to whom she was wed for 66 years. Her parents, Jasper  and Effie and siblings and half siblings; Preston, Mack, Willie, Raymond,Mable, Cambry and Levy.

She is survived by her three children Sue Pomplun and husband Dick, Carl M. Hayes and wife Irma, David K. Hayes and wife Peggy; and 8 grandchildren, 13 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Carol Patton and Rick Hayes who were a support to her in her last days.

Pauline will be remembered and  missed, but we know we will see her again in heaven.

She was cremated in Michigan. A service will be held later at the Fairview Baptist Church with a burial at the Fairview Cemetery.

Mary F. Livingston

Mary F. Livingston, age 69, of Jamestown, TN, passed from this life at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN on April 14, 2015.

Mary was born on November 11, 1945 in East Orange, NJ. Mary lived in Croton-on-Hudson, NY and was a beautician for 19 years. She later moved her family to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she continued raising her children and continued her work as a beautician until she retired in 2009. After retirement she moved to Jamestown, TN to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Mary was very proud of her family and her Cherokee Indian Heritage.

Mary is survived by daughters, Dara Zambrano (Benjamin) of Jamestown, Marcie Livingston Putney (William) of Jamestown, and Jennie Livingston (Alfred) of Jamestown; brothers, Rene Gordon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Robert Gordon of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Karlie Livingston, Miranda Livingston, Vincent LoTempio, Mary LoTempio, Jessie Putney and Riley Fulks; great-grandchildren, Jason Livingston and Keira Livingston.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William  Gordon and Irene Hallowell (Norman); brothers, William Gordon and Jesse Gordon.

Mary and her family have chosen cremation and services will be planned at a later date. Final Care Cremation Services of Sparta, TN was in charge of arrangements.

Ola Stephens Owens

Ola Stephens Owens, age 87, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the Signature Health Care.

Mrs. Owens is survived by daughters, Jo McCormick and Linda Adams; brothers, Earnest Stephens and Arthur Stephens; sister, Ila Bertram; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by husband, Webster Webb Owens; son, Daniel Owens; daughter, Clella Owens; parents, Alexander and Buna Vista Tipton Stephens; brothers, Warren and Felton Stephens; sisters, Wilma Hoover, Ina Yates and Beulah Stephens.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home  with Bro. Ronnie Owens officiating. Burial followed in the Owens Cemetery.

Mary Jane Williams Pile, age 84, of Pall Mall, TN, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 in the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Pile is survived by husband, M.C. Pile; sons, Darrell Pile and wife, Lisa and Gerald Pile and wife, Faye; daughters, Jean Choate and husband, Richard, Janice Alotaibi and husband, Barjes; seven grandchildren,  Marybeth, Amanda, Alicia, Emily, Yasmine, Adam, and Malek; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Addison, Harper, and Destiny; brothers, Hollis Williams and wife, Marie; Guy Williams and wife, Ruth; sisters, Barbara Patton and husband, Woody; sisters-in-law, Brenda Williams, Faye Williams and Mary Williams; special care givers, James Gilbert, Angie Stewart and Beth Stewart.

Mrs. Pile was preceded in death by parents, Quinten and Emma Leffew Williams; brothers, John, Hildreth, Henry and Alden Williams.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Wright and Bro. Tommy Duncan officiating. Burial followed in the Wolf River Cemetery. Pallbearers included Adam Alotaibi, Malek Alotaibi, Greg Wright, Bradley Thompson, Adam Woody, and Chris Williams.
