Paul Beaty, age 76, of Grimsley passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Beaty was born May 24, 1940 in Grimsley, TN. He was a sewing machine repairman.

Mr. Beaty is survived by daughter, Sue Beaty and finance’, Terry Clark; grandson, Trey Oakes; and brother, Edgar Beaty.

Mr. Beaty was preceded in death by wife, Wanda Lou (Whited) Beaty; son, Earnest Paul Beaty; father, Andrew Jackson Beaty; mother, Mary Jane (Stephens) Beaty; brothers, Hubert Beaty, Oz Beaty, Harold Beaty, Freeman Beaty and Terry Beaty; sisters, Lillie Garrett, Lorene Cummings, Allen Mansburger, and Loretta Wilson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel with Foy Stover officiating. Burial followed in the Goney Cemetery in Fentress County, TN. Pallbearers included James Lonnie Taylor, Shannon Oakes, Richard Winningham, Calvin Turner, James Garrett, and Benny Koger.

Jennings Funeral Home of Clarkrange, Tennessee was in charge of the services.

Bertie Mae Christine (Garrett) Chambers, age 86, of Jamestown, joined the love of her life, husband Ralph Chambers, in Heaven on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab in Scott Co.

Bertie Chambers was loved by many and will be missed. She was born September 27, 1929 in Fentress Co., TN to the late Rev. W. O. Garrett and Effie (Collins) Garrett. She worked for McDonald’s as a Lobby Attendant.

Mrs. Chambers is survived by daughter, Betty (Chambers) Copeland of Austin, TX; granddaughters, Mary Beckley (Rick) of Knoxville, TN and Sarah Sanborn (Chris) of Seneca, SC; great-granddaughter, Dagny Sanborn; sisters, Beatrice Lewallen of Robbins, TN and Zelma Phillips (Russell) of Helenwood, TN; sisters-in-law, Shirley Clevenger (Fred) of Cicero, IN and Fay Bayles  (Gene) of Helenwood, TN; brother-in-law, Charlie Chambers (Thelma) of Hot Springs, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Chambers; brother, Roy Garrett; infant brother and sister, Joseph and Viola Garrett.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.  at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel with Rev.  Carlie Garrett, Rev. Ronnie Peters, and Rev.  Brady Goad officiating. Burial service was held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. CT, at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Scott County. Pallbearers included Rick Beckley, Chris Sanborn, Randy Lewallen, Dwight Murphy, Allen Phillips, and Jimmy Chambers. Honorary pallbearers included Russell Phillips, Rev. Charlie Chambers, Fred Clevenger, and Gene Bayles.

Faye Hinds, age 68, of Grimsley, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia.

Mrs. Hinds was born October 26, 1947 in Pall Mall, TN. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hinds is survived by son, Jimmy Farmer; daughters, Teresa Hinds-Randolph and husband, Bill and Michelle Hinds-Dark and husband, Jerry; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Crisp and wife, Kathy, Jesse Crisp and wife, Betty, Jerry Crisp and wife, Teresa; sisters, Mary Huddleston and husband, Charles and Ruby Sewell; special caregiver, Paula McClain.

Mrs. Hinds was preceded in death by husband, Jesse R. Hinds; father, George Crisp; mother, Delma (Matthews) Crisp; and sister, Pauline Repp.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 22, at 4:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Cooper officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Jamestown, TN.

Margaret “Peggy” (Davis) Wallbaum, age 76, of Oneida, TN passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wallbaum was born February 17, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. She worked as a Sales Agent for Barna Log Homes.

Mrs. Wallbaum is survived by daughter, Sherri Dix and husband, Joel; son, Bruce Wallbaum and wife, Donna; and sister, Virginia (Davis) Balcerzak and husband, Walter.

Mrs. Wallbaum was preceded in death by husband, Richard “Dick” Wallbaum; granddaughter, Danielle Dattrich; father, William Davis; and mother, Louise (Ulaga) Davis.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida, TN with Pastor Bobby Stewart and Bro. Don Stabley officiating. Burial was held Friday, September 23, 2916 at 11:00 a.m. in Fentress Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, TN. Pallbearers included Kevin Boland, James Andrew Garrett, Monica Jennings-Yates, Tim Mabry, Steve Sexton, Brent Staton II, Darrell Strunk, Kenny Vann, and Matthew Strunk.

Roger Watson, age 64, of Grimsley, TN passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Tennova Healthcare in Jamestown, TN.

Mr. Watson is survived by wife, Carol Watson; son, Chris Watson and wife, Ami; grandson, Payton; sisters, Barbara Durham, Sue Pecora and husband, Robert and Tammy Pharris and husband, Tony; brothers, Tim Watson and wife, Jane and David Watson; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by parents, Stacy and Dimple Watson; sister, Cathy Watson Smith Beaty; and brother-in-law, Daniel Durham.

Masonic services were conducted Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home by the Clarkrange Lodge #605.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Kerr officiating with Entombment following in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Danny Durham, Chandler Pecora, Phil Watson, Tyler Watson, Dalton Pharris, Tim Watson and David Watson.
