Kenneth Lyle Bowden

Kenneth Lyle Bowden, age 39, of Jamestown, TN, passed away Sunday, October, 15, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Jamestown.

Mr. Bowden was born September 28, 1978 in Crossville, TN. He was a CNA.

Mr. Bowden is survived by father, Ralph Bowden & wife, Debbie; mother, Debra Bowden; sisters, Kerry Patton & husband, Randy and Kim Campbell & husband, Bozie; step-sisters, Amie Brown, Tammy Stephens, and Jessica Smith; nieces and nephews, Laci, Emily, Destiny, Colton, Kelsey, Coby, Austin, Kenzie, Dalton and Dawson; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Bowden was preceded in death by grandparents, Leo & Velma Bowden and Archie Webb & Eleanor Hendrix.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel with Bro. Ernest Campbell officiating. Burial followed in the Reagan Cemetery in the Little Crab Community. Pallbearers included Bradley Bowden, Aaron Bowden, Jason Bowden, Eric Simpson, Eric Miller and Danny Rickett.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of the services.

Bro. Bradley Hatfield

Bro. Bradley Hatfield, age 79 of Jamestown, TN passed away Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Fentress County.

Bro. Hatfield is survived by wife, Melba Hatfield; son, Randy Hatfield; daughter, Loretta Hatfield Price; grandsons, Chad Price & wife, Amanda and Joshua Hatfield & wife, Sarah; great-grandchildren, Braxton Price, Brent Price and Ashlyn Hatfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bro. Hatfield was preceded in death by son, David Anderson; parents, Webb and Fannie Hatfield; brothers, Marvin Hatfield, Charles Hatfield, Wendal Hatfield, Kenneth Hatfield and Webb Hatfield Jr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown with Bro. Vic Davis, Bro. Shayne Monday, and Wade Stover officiating. Burial followed in the Wolf River Cemetery with military services conducted at grave side by the American Legion Post #137. Pallbearers included Doyle Nance, Darwin Nance, Doran Nance, Darrel Harvil, David England, and Truman Creselious.

Mundy Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of the services.

Roy Lisk

Roy Lisk, age 58 of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Jamestown, TN.

Mr. Lisk was born July 5, 1959 in Genoa, Ohio. He worked in maintenance.

Mr. Lisk is survived by wife, Linda (Jones) Lisk; mother, Kerry (Heilman) Sebacious & husband, Ron; brother, Robert Lisk; sister, Jill M’Rae Walter & husband, Jerry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Lisk was preceded in death by father, Gerald Lisk; mother-in-law, Elsie (Jones) O’Conner; brothers-in-law, Truman Brown and Leon Brown.

Funeral services were held Monday,October 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel with William Jones officiating.

Paul Shaver

Paul Shaver, age 73, of Clarkrange, TN passed away Wednesday,October 18, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Shaver was born June 29, 1944 in Muncie, IN. He worked as a Telephone Contractor Connection Installer.

Mr. Shaver is survived by sons, J.R. Shaver and Tom Shaver; grandchildren, Sonya Lynn Shaver, T.J. Shaver & wife, Megan, Boo Shaver, and Dustin Shaver; great-grandchildren, Lallah Shaver and Sophia Shaver.

Mr. Shaver was preceded in death by wife, Judy Lynn Shaver; father, Thomas D. Shaver; mother, Lona A. Shaver; brothers, Eulis “Lucky” Shaver and James Shaver; and one infant brother.

Funeral services were held  Friday, October 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Homes-Clarkrange Chapel with Bro. Michael Swallows officiating. Burial was held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Campground Cemetery in Clarkrange, TN with Military Service at grave side provided by American Legion Post #137. Pallbearers included T.J. Shaver, Dustin Shaver, Danny Shaver, Logan Shaver, Jason Shaver, and Justin Shaver.

Agnes (brewer) Davis Smith

Agnes (Brewer) Davis Smith, age 74, of Jamestown, TN passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at U.T. Medical Center.

Mrs. Smith was born May 13, 1943 in Jamestown, TN. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Smith is survived by daughter, Billie Ellen Davis; granddaughter, Natalie Marie Davis; step-son, Claude W. Smith, Jr. & wife, Debbie; step-daughters, Shelia Stewart & husband, Merle; Jeanette Tompkins & husband, James; and Aarol Williams & husband, Anthony; seven step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; sister, Emmaline Choate; sisters-in-law, Helen Copeland Brewer; and Blanche Davis Gardner.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by 1st husband, John Will Davis; 2nd husband, Claude W. Smith, Sr.; father, Nathaniel Brewer; mother, Nova (Beaty) Brewer; brothers, Paul Brewer and Clarence Brewer; sisters, Mary Dial, Martha Murdock and Margie Napier; and brother-in-law, Claude Choate, Sr.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daryl Rains officiating. Burial followed in Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included C.W. Smith, Claude Smith, Jr., James Tompkins, Claude Choate, Jr., Merle Stewart, Wheeler Smith, and Nathaniel Choate.
