LARRY LEE ALLSBROOKS

Larry Lee Allsbrooks, age 72, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Allsbrooks was a contractor.  He served in the Army.

Mr. Allsbrooks is survived by wife, Judith (Anklin) Allsbrooks; three daughters, Lajuana Dawn (Allsbrooks) Parchman and husband Scott, Shannon Rene (Allsbrooks) Mays and husband Larry and Corinza Carlee Allsbrooks; son, Larry Dwayne Allsbrooks and wife Billie; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-children, Kathleen Ramsey and husband Robert, William Long and Diane Winter and husband Brian; eight step-grandchildren; father, Ira Lee Allsbrooks and wife Carlene; sister, Sandra Ferritt and husband Russ; and brother-in-law, Charles Payne.

Mr. Allsbrooks was preceded in death by mother, Viola Frances (Ferry) Allsbrooks; and sister, Martha Diane Payne.

The family chose cremation.

HUMP BEELER

Hump Beeler, age 74, of Tinchtown, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Beeler is survived by wife, Donna Beeler; two son, Eddie Ballard and wife Lannette and Mark Ballard and wife La; daughter, Lisa Manis and husband Greg; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters; and special friends and nurses, Shannon Lane and Trish Keith.

Mr. Beeler was preceded in death by parents, George and Lillian Beeler; brother, Bull Beeler; sister, Linda Beeler; and brother-in-law, Dwight Garrett.

The family chose cremation.

AUDRY MARIE  “Auda” Madewell BILBREY

Audry Marie “Auda” Madewell Bilbrey, age 95, of Alpine, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Bilbrey was born July 7, 1922 in Overton County.  She was Baptist in Faith.  She was known for her garden, which she watched over and tended to daily. Her garden brought her great joy, which was seen by all the neighbors and passing cars.  She loved her neighbors as her own family.

Mrs. Bilbrey is survived by sister, Ollie Madewell Campbell; brother, Donald Madewell; special neighbors and friends, Sue Pope, Carolyn McDonald, Jill White, Tonya King and Dr. John Clough and his family and staff.

Mrs. Bilbrey was preceded in death by parents, Barton Moses and Jane Cook Madewell; and two brothers, Doyle and Roy Madewell.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Earnest Campbell officiating.  Burial followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Livingston Funeral Home of Livingston, Tennessee was in charge of services.

MARY BOLES

Mary Boles, age 80, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center in Ohio.

Mrs. Boles is survived by son, Michael Boles and wife Cynthia; two grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Brummett and wife Dorothy, Paul Brummett and wife Margie and Manuel Brummett and wife Diane; and three sisters, Edna McQueary and husband Dale, Virgie Argabrite and Ruth Landers.

Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by husband, Walter Boles; parents, Harley and Reva Brummett; sister, Mildred Brummett; and four brothers, David Brummett, Milus Brummett, Andy Brummett and Frank Brummett.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the South Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Alvin Copeland officiating.  Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery  Pallbearers included Ricky Neely, John Neely, Sid LaRue, Rodney Atkinson, Ray Argabrite and David McQueary.

PATRICIA

(UPCHURCH) FLOWERS

Patricia (Upchurch) Flowers, age 82, of Byrdstown, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Overton County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Flowers was born March 28, 1936 in New Castle, Indiana.  She was a clerical worker.

Mrs. Flowers is survived by three sons, Steven Flowers, Jeffrey Flowers and Gregory Flowers; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two half-brothers, Ruble Upchurch Jr. and Willard Upchurch.

Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by mother, Jessie Helen (Reagan) Smelcer; and Ruble Upchurch Sr.

Memorial services were held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. David Shaw officiating.

DEBBIE JUNE KING

Debbie June King, age 53, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Miss King was born June 11, 1965 in Lafayette, Indiana.

Miss King is survived by mother, Ethel King; brother, Ricky King and wife Shannon; two sisters, Ruth Ann Campbell and fiancée Joe Gilpin and Tina Insco; three nieces, Daydra Insco, Letitia Campbell and Brittany Insco; and four nephews, Gary Campbell, Ricky “Buddy” King Ghari Insco and Shawn Insco.

Miss King was preceded in death by father, William Delmer King; and two sisters, Kathy King and Janice King.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Sammie Dunford officiating.  Burial followed in the Stilts Cemetery in Jamestown, Tennessee.  Pallbearers included Ricky King, Ricky “Buddy” King, Gary Campbell, Joe Gilpin, Gary Insco, Jr and Tex Campbell.

RICKY “LITTLE JOE” SMITH

Ricky “Little Joe” Smith, age 22, of Allardt, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was born January 9, 1996 in Jamestown, Tennessee.

Mr. Smith is survived by three daughters, Dixie Lynn Smith, Allison Renee Sue Smith and Harmony Rose Smith; mother, Samantha (Strunk) Smith and Lloyd Yearwood; fiancée, Arianna Bogard; sister, Jaclyn Rose Smith and Brenda Bryant; and several aunts, uncles, other family and friends.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by father, Ricky Joe Smith.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Brady Goad and Bro. Vernon Goad officiating.  Burial followed in the Fellowship Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Derek Strunk, Eugene Strunk, Dominic Strunk, Dave Bryant, Lloyd Yearwood, Cory Smith, Ritchie Cravens, Stevie Smith, David Eldridge and Garion Bogard.
