TONY LEON BEATY

Tony Leon Beaty, age 66, of Allardt, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Beaty was born April 20, 1952 in Albany, Kentucky.  He was in the US Army.

Mr. Beaty is survived by wife, Alicia Delores (McDonald) Beaty; two sons, Kevin Beaty and wife B.J. and Adam Beaty and wife Ashley; five grandchildren; sister, Linda Beaty; mother-in-law, Dora McDonald; sister-in-law, Kandy Crabtree and husband Carl; sister-in-law, Allison Howell and husband Roger; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Beaty was preceded in death by father, Louis Beaty; mother, Eva Beaty; brother, Dwight Beaty; father-in-law, Leslie “Big Mac” McDonald; and nephew, Bryan Cook.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Justin Cook, Bro. Mark Turton, Bro. Charles Dungan, Bro. Adam Beaty, Bro. David Delk; and President Trevor Cook officiating.  Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers included Kevin Beaty, Phillip Beaty, Carl Crabtree, Nazario Gomez, Dan Alexander, Dan White, Mike Wright, Mark Turton, Adam Beaty, Brayden Beaty, Marty Scroggins, Justin Cook, Charles Dungan, David Delk, Jimmy Dickens and Michael Miller.

Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown, Tennessee was in charge of services.

JOSH CARROLL

Josh Carroll, age 39, of Pall Mall, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Carroll is survived by mother, Tammy Sells Groce; son, Tanner Carroll; two brothers, Boone Sells and Ryan Sells; grandmother, Mildred Patton; aunts, Jennifer McKinney and Pam Gilliumand and husband Jim; and uncle, Sam Reed.

Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by son, Trevor Carroll; father, Ronnie Sells; and grandparents, Harry Patton and Wendell Reed.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Duncan officiating.  Burial followed in the Reed Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers included Sam Moon, Roger Moon, Boone Sells, Ryan Sells, Tanner Carroll and Jim Bob Anderson.

JERE H. GARRETT

Jere H. Garrett, age 60 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Friday, November 8, 1957 in Monterey, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Howard Garrett and the late Carlene Allred  Ledbetter.

Jere is survived by: 1 Brother and Sister-In-Law: James and Ruth Ledbetter of  Monterey, TN.

A Memorial Service for Jere will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 beginning at 1:00 pm at Victory Baptist Church in Crossville, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the Church Saturday, July 14, from 12:00 Noon until time of services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crest Lawn Funeral Home to help family with final expenses.

PATRICIA SUE GRECNI

Patricia Sue Grecni (Foy), age 75 of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away on June 27, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to the late Charles and Hazel Foy (Phillips) on October 13, 1942, in Allardt, Tennessee.   She married Peter Steven (Butch) Grecni, III on June 3, 1961.

Pat was a long time resident of Cincinnati, Ohio leaving her childhood home in Allardt, Tennessee at the age of 18. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and being surrounded by her extended family.   

Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, Peter Steven Grecni, III, her children, Deborah Umberg (Tim), Terri Wright (Mark), Karen McGraw (Tim), and Pete Grecni IV.  Loving Granny of Angela Smith, Heather O’Connor (Andy), Jacqueline McGraw, Victoria Grecni, Connor McGraw, Veronica Grecni and great-grandson, Patrick Smith.

The family appreciates the kind thoughts and prayers from her friends and family.  Pat requested for an intimate family graveside service in Jamestown, Tennessee.

Bobby L. Hanahan Sr.

1930 to 2018

Bobby L. Hanahan Sr. passed away May 31, 2018 in Hospice, in Dayton, Ohio after a long illness.

Mr. Hanahan was preceded in death by his parents, James and Laura Hanahan; six brothers; and three sisters.

Mr. Hanahan leaves to mourn his loss, wife of 62 years Betty; son, Bobby L. Hanahan Jr.; one granddaughter; four grandsons all of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Zola Anderson of Jamestown, TN; and brother, Olin of Marion, Ohio.

A private grave side service was held with full military honors.

Newcomer Funeral Home was in charge of services.

RANDY STEVE HARDING

Randy Steve Harding, age 55, of Monterey, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Harding was born July 7, 1962 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  He was a mechanic.

Mr. Harding is survived by wife, Vada (Winningham) Harding; daughter, Miranda Nicole Harding and finance Curtis Smith; son, Ryan Dakota Harding and girlfriend, Jackie Renee Cravens; two granddaughters; six brothers, William Harding, Jack Harding and wife Linda, Tim Harding and wife Joyce, Bobby Harding, Ricky Harding, and Shawn Harding and wife Melissa; four sisters, Joyce Pennycuff, Judy Delk, Kathy Copley and husband Ricky and Patty Lowe; special aunt, Ola Mae Harding; special friend and sister-in-law, Maebelle Nickens and husband Joe; sister-in-law, Bonita Winningham Harding; special friends, Tina Smith Garrett, Tracy Pritchard, Ryan Pryor and wife Shannon; and  a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Harding was preceded in death by father, Frank Harding; and mother, Gladis (Dishman) Harding.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Jamestown City Park by York Institute with Bro. Johnny Rexroat officiating.
