RACHEL COOK

Rachel Cook, age 80 of Grimsley, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County.

Mrs. Cook was born July 14, 1937 in Davidson, Tennessee.  She was a housewife.

Mrs. Cook is survived by son, Eddie Cook and wife Corie; two daughters, Linda Upchurch and husband Rick and Brenda Cook and Michael Stowers; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Hannah, Nichole, Brannon, Teddy, Andrea and Addy; and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Kylee and Anslee.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by husband, Luster Cook; two sons, Teddy Cook and Michael Cook; father, Arthur Levi Jenkins; mother, Claudia Lee (Lewis) Jenkins; and sisters and brothers, Demple, Belle, Jo, Ray, Bunt, Cordell and Floyd.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clarkrange Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Cook officiating.  Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Pallbearers included Rick Upchurch, Michael Stowers, Jamie Cook, Brandon Upchurch, Teddy Upchurch and Brent Cook.

Jennings Funeral Home of Clarkrange, Tennessee was in charge of services.

JASON EUGENE MUSIC

Jason Eugene Music, age 32, of Monterey, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare -Jamestown.

Mr. Music was born April 19, 1985 in Crossville, Tennessee.  He was a fast food service worker.

Mr. Music is survived by wife, Audrey (Bright) Music; father, Robert Eugene Music; mother, Vicki (Bell) Onyegwara; two daughters, Aleia Music and Grace Eldridge; two sons, Jacob Bright and Joshua Bright; brother, Dalton Music; four uncles, Jeff Bell, Charles Bell, Wilborn Bell and David Music; and aunt, Betty Stone.

Mr. Music was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Rosellen Bell and Robert and Sarah Music.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clarkrange Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Floyd officiating.  Burial followed in the Turner Cemetery in Crossville, TN.  Pallbearers included Wilborn Bell, Jeff Bell, Dale Lyons, Phillip Cummings, Ryan Bell, David Music, Jerry Henry and Dalton Music.

MARSHALL ED DUNFORD

Marshall Ed Dunford, age 73, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Jamestown.

Mr. Dunford was born February 25, 1944 in Jamestown, Tennessee.  He was in retail sales.

Mr. Dunford is survived by wife, Betty (Christman) Dunford; three sons, William Dunford and friend Lisa, Edwin Lee Dunford and wife Julia and Dean Blevins and wife Linda; daughter, Sherri  Godwin and son Justin; sister, Lu Schrader and husband Phil; and a host of other family, extended family and friends.

Mr. Dunford was preceded in death by father, Marshall Woodrow Dunford; and mother, Vallie (Atkins) Dunford.

The family has chosen Cremation with a private memorial service at a later date with burial at the Tinch Cemetery.
