Becky Allred

Becky Allred, age 38, of Clarkrange, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Cumberland Medical Center.

Miss Allred was born July 27, 1979 in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by father, Lonnie Allred; mother, Sharon (Baldwin) Allred; brother, Ben Allred & wife, T.J.; nephew, Dylan Cade Allred; grandparents, Guy & Jane Baldwin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elbert & Bonnie Allred.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Clarkrange Baptist Church with Bro. Dean Patton and Bro. Jeff Monday officiating. Burial followed in the Clarkrange Cemetery in Clarkrange, TN. Pallbearers included Mark Baldwin, Kevin Baldwin, Jeff Baldwin, Patrick Baldwin, Bradley Baldwin, Ronnie Casteel, Kenny Allred, and Chad Garrett.

James Claud Bilbrey, Sr.

Mr. James Claud Bilbrey, Sr., age 78 of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Summit Medical Center. He was born in Grimsley, Tennessee, the son of the late Joe Landon and Ima Jane Bilbrey.  He was a member of Hickory Bend United Methodist Church.  Mr. Bilbrey was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Bilbrey, brothers, and sisters.

Mr. Bilbrey is survived by his son, Jim Bilbrey and his wife, Cindy; daughter, Jeanette Cheryl Bilbrey; grandchildren, Miranda and Justin Bilbrey, and several extended family members. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. The Celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Pastor Melisa Derseweh officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Bilbrey to the Alzheimer’s Association. Darryl Bledsoe

Darryl Bledsoe, age 55, of Chatsworth, GA and formerly of the Banner Springs Community, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Pruitt Health-Shepherd Hills.

Mr. Bledsoe was born December 2, 1961 in Fentress Co., TN. He was a carpet factory worker.

Mr. Bledsoe is survived by brother, Kennith Ray Bledsoe of Grimsley, TN; sisters, Elizabeth Ann (Libbie) Fowler of Lenoir City, TN and Mima Ruth Davis & husband, Donnie of Knoxville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by father, Lonous Elra Bledsoe; mother, Nancy Faye (Copeland) Bledsoe; and sister, Debra Bledsoe.

The family has chosen cremation with a private Memorial Service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations toward funeral expenses and they can be left at Jennings Funeral Home.

Carolyn Crabtree

Carolyn Crabtree,  age 75, of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Crabtree was born April 14, 1942 in Fentress Co., TN. She was a factory worker.

Mrs. Crabtree is survived by daughter, Amy Stephens & husband, Arnold; sons, Wayne Crabtree & wife, Kim and Robert Crabtree; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale Cooper and Junior Cooper; sisters, Charlene Copley, Janie Choate, Lorene Crabtree, and Barbara Brannon.

Mrs. Crabtree was preceded in death by husband, Dewey Crabtree; daughters, Becky Burchfield, Priscilla Cooper and Janice Ramsey; father, Carlos Cooper; mother, Rhua (Crabtree) Cooper; brothers, Gordon Cooper and Bud Cooper; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Oscar England officiating. Burial was in the Terry Cemetery in Jamestown, TN. Pallbearers included Arnold Stephens, Cecil Copley, Rick Crabtree, Adam Lloyd, Adam Burchfield, Tim Smith, Ricky Klopfenstein, and Brandon Miller.

Angie Jo Fulton

Angie Jo Fulton, age 32, of Jamestown, TN passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare of Jamestown.

Ms. Fulton is survived by parents, Gary & Oshi Fulton and Bertie Mae Wiggins; daughter, Destiny Faith Asberry; sister, Linda Roberts & husband, Justin.

Ms. Fulton was preceded in death by grandparents, Armithie & Barlow Fulton and Nora Allred.

Grave side services were held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Fulton Family Cemetery. Pallbearers included Raymond Reed, Linda Roberts, Justin Roberts, Billy Holbert, Tommy Wiggins, Junior Wiggins, and Jason Wiggins.

Wayne Lain

Wayne Lain, age 72, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Jamestown.

Mr. Lain was born February 19, 1945 in Brookhaven, MS. He was a painter.

Mr. Lain is survived by wife, Lorene (Beaty) Lain; sons, Allen Lain and Charlie Lain; daughter, Laurie (Lain) Temple; four grandchildren, Leah, Justin, Victoria and Andy; step-daughter, Sherry Weaver; step-sons, Ricky Rich and Michael Rich; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Lain was preceded in death by mother, Juanita (Robertson) Lain; and grandson, Cody Temple.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Raymond Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Wolf River Cemetery in Pall Mall, TN. Pallbearers included Ricky Rich, Austin Rich, Nate Presley, and Bob Herren.

Maynard Phillips

Maynard Phillips, also known as Mickey, age 72 of Allardt, TN passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare of Jamestown.

Mr. Phillips is survived by sons, Rex Phillips & Austin Brannon; daughter, Rhonda Green; brothers, Tommy Phillips, Jimmy Phillips, Harley Phillips and Paul Phillips; sisters, Dorie Kinnaird and Page Phillips; grandchildren, Anna Dyer, Bethany Ford, Cassidy Purdy and Maddie Phillips.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by parents, Maynard Phillips and Grace Pemberton Phillips; sister, Fonda Kratoska.

The family chose cremation and a memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the home of Ray and Annette Lewis at 1435 Allardt Tinch Rd. from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m.

Irvin D. Threet

Irvin D. Threet, age 84, of Fentress Co., passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Fentress Co.

Mr. Threet was born April 17, 1933 in Cravenstown, TN. He was a factory worker.

Mr. Threet is survived by nephew, Trig Threet & wife, Rebecca; niece, Marthy Wesley; step-sons, Clovis Hensley and Everett Hensley, Jr.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Liza Jane Cravens; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Mr. Threet was preceded in death by wife, Creola (Wisner) Threet; daughter, Connie (Cope) Hensley; an infant son; father, Odis “Lark” Threet; mother, Susie Louvine (Hargis) Threet; brothers, Bailey Isacc Threet, Jonathan Threet, and Ike Threet; sisters, Haley Louvine Griffin, Hazel Abston, Mindy Beaty, Elan Winningham and Haley Threet.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry DeLong officiating. Burial followed in the Cub Cemetery in Allred, TN. Pallbearers included Terry Williamson, Trig Threet, Odis Threet, David Griffin, James Cravens, and James Threet.

Hazel Tinch

Hazel Tinch, age 78 of Jamestown, TN passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville, TN.

Mrs. Tinch is survived by husband, Paul Tinch; sons, Douglas Tinch and Paul Tinch, Jr.; daughters, Vanessa Ward and Melissa Briggs; sisters, Neva Garrett, Tina Smith, Jewell Campbell and Diana Gunter; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Tinch was preceded in death by parents, Orlando and Rachel Capps; brothers, Luther Capps, Frank Capps, and Fred Capps; and sister, Helen Garrett.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Tinchtown Freewill Baptist Church.
