Ruth Rains Baldwin, age 87, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Fentress Co.

Mrs. Baldwin was born August 10, 1930 in Pall Mall, TN. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Baldwin is survived by son, Daryl Rains & wife, Carolyn; daughter, Myra Lewis & husband, Bobby; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Baldwin was preceded in death by first husband, Keith Rains; second husband, Lee Baldwin; father, James Bradley Upchurch; mother, Oma (Anderson) Upchurch;  brothers, Clay Upchurch, Wallace Upchurch, James Bradley Upchurch, Jr. and Bruce Upchurch; and sisters, Willis Pyle and Bernice West….

Roxie Elise Beaty

Roxie Elise Beaty, age 85, of Byrdstown, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Pickett Care & Rehab.

Mrs. Beaty was born July 20, 1933 in Byrdstown, TN. She worked in the garment industry.

Mrs. Beaty is survived by daughters, Joyce Campbell, Connie Holt & husband, Eddie and Donna Agee & husband, Joe; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Beaty was preceded  in death by husband, Don Beaty; father, Marion Koger; mother, Ocha (Upchurch) Koger; brothers, Glen Koger, Fred Koger and Tom Koger; and sister, Ruby Beaty….

Bonnie Sue Bertram

Bonnie Sue Bertram, age 66, of Clarkrange, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Bertram is survived by companion, Gale Draper; brothers, Jimmy Hall, and Jeff Hall & wife, Carolyn; nephews, Chris Hall and Jeremy Hall; niece, Diana Brown & husband, Jeremy; and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Bertram was preceded in death by parents, Cletis and Sena Hall; and three infant siblings….

John Kermit Conatser

John Kermit Conatser, age 95, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Overton Co. Nursing Home.

Mr. Conatser was born October 2, 1922 in Jamestown. He was a Corrections Officer.

Mr. Conatser is survived by son, Rick Conatser & wife, Linda; daughter, Hope Conatser & husband, Jose Mejia; grandson, Forrest Franklin; granddaughters, Holly Sharp and Tasha Conatser; grandson, Ricky Alan Conatser; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; nine step- great-grandchildren; sisters, Beachel Creselious, Lura Odum and Opal Dixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Conatser was preceded in death by wife, Evelyn (Sharp) Conatser; father, Rev. Tom Conatser; mother, Nettie (Owens) Conatser; and brothers, Luther Conatser, Clay Conatser and Odell Conatser…..

Irma Loudin

Irma Loudin, age 77, of Dayton, OH passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Loudin was born May 22, 1941 in Krypton, KY. She was a Store Clerk for Sunbeam Bread Store in Kettering, OH.

Mrs. Loudin is survived by husband, Doyle Loudin; sons, Chris Loudin and Craig Loudin & wife, Lisa; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ader Hamblin & wife, Ruth, Amos Hamblin & wife, Deb, AJ Hamblin & wife, Pat, and Devon Hamblin & wife, Donna; sisters, Martha Hargis & husband, Don and Myrtle Fugate & husband, Cisco; and a host of other family and friends….

Clay Pryor

Clay Pryor, age 61, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his home in Louisville, KY.

Mr. Pryor is survived by sons, Chad Pryor & fiance’, Katina Sells and Jamie Pryor & partner, Charlie Swafford; daughter, Kellye Stedam & husband, Zach; special grandson, Eziah Stedam; and special granddaughter.

Mr. Pryor was preceded in death by parents, Shelby & Paul Lane and brother, Gary Pryor.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, with Bro. Daryl Rains officiating. Burial followed in the Allardt Cemetery. Pallbearers included David “Bear”Rankin, Timmy Crabtree, Ryan Pryor, Tyler Huddleston, Zach Stedam and Charlie Swafford. Honorary pallbearers included Chad Pryor, Jamie Pryor and Paul Pryor….

Albert B. Tucker

Albert B. Tucker, age 75, of Jamestown passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Fentress Co.

Mr. Tucker was born May 2, 1943 in Denver, CO. He worked in security.

Mr. Tucker is survived by wife, Terry (Burton) Tucker; children, Michael Tucker, John Roufs, Jackie Batey, Donald Roufs, and Tracy Roufs; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Faye Gurica-Tucker; and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by father, Burless Tucker; mother, Elizabeth (Follett) Tucker; brother, Hayden Tucker; and granddaughter, Kendra Roufs….

Millie Winningham

Millie Winningham, age 91, of Clarkrange passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Winningham was born April 13, 1927 in Jamestown, TN. She worked in the food industry.

Mrs. Winningham is survived by sons, Chris Winningham & wife, Anna and Mike Winningham & wife, Tammie; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bessie Conatser and Helen Winningham.

Mrs. Winningham was preceded in death by husband, William “Doyle” Winningham; son, Richard Daniel Winningham; granddaughter, Courtney Winningham; father, Rosco Matthews; mother, Mary (Wright) Matthews; and sisters, Wilma Conatser, Eva Smith and Cynthia Pritchett….

Sylvia O. Winningham

Sylvia O. Winningham, 83, passed away at The Waters of Muncie on August 10, 2018. She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee, on December 1, 1934 to Lonza and Carlie (Beaty) Hinds.

Sylvia worked as a nursing aid for Muncie area home health care facilities for over 13 years. She enjoyed gardening and going to church. Sylvia is a member of the True Light Baptist Church in Muncie.

Sylvia is survived by  daughter; Deborah Bubp of Albany; sister, Christeen Clark (JQ); two grandchildren, Kyle and Korbin Bubp; five great -grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sylvia was preceded in death by parents;  husband of over 50 years, Willie Winningham; son, Ralph Winningham; daughter; Connie Sue Winningham; three sisters, Gloretta Conatser, Sonnie Copeland, and Vesta Stephens; three brothers, Juel Hinds, Oddis Hinds and Donald Hinds, all from Jamestown, Tennessee….
