National Day of Prayer Thursday

The Fentress County Voice of Hope, in conjunction with the Fentress County Ministerial Association, will participate in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 1, 2014.  This special day will provide citizens a forum that they may unite and pray over local, state and national issues.

Sin is rampant throughout America, the state of Tennessee, Fentress County and the city of Jamestown.  Each segment of our society has been affected by alcohol and drug abuse; homes are broken leaving single parents and/or grandparents to raise and care for the children.

That is why the Ministerial Association and the Voice of Hope are so concerned, and see the need for community prayer.

Following is the schedule of the locations and times for the prayer meets:

12:00 noon —– Fentress County Courthouse

1:00 p.m. —-First Baptist Church

(This service live on Cable TV)

6:30 p.m. —– South Fentress Elementary School

The Voice of Hope Prayer Group will also meet for prayer on Sunday, May 4th at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Fentress County Courthouse.  For more information, contact Andy Lowe at 931-879-3924.
