Separate sealed bids for a Horizontal Directional Drilling Machine and Attachments will be received by the City of Jamestown, Tennessee at the office of the Mayor, 314 East Central Avenue, Jamestown, Tennessee 38556 until 4:00 o’clock P.M., C.S.T., February 6th, 2014 and immediately opened thereafter. No bids will be accepted after this time. The envelopes must be marked “SEALED BID for HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING MACHINE AND ATTACHMENTS”. Each bid must be accompanied by bidder’s accurate written specifications, pictures and any other descriptive information on the bid items as described within the Bid Specifications.
A complete bid specification may be obtained from City Hall at 314 East Central Avenue, Jamestown, Tennessee 38556 or by telephone at (931) 879-8815.
Bidders and other interested parties should note that prequalification of equipment manufacturers by the Owner prior to the bid opening may be required for this Contract. Equipment prequalification requirements, if any, are described in the Bid Specification.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, DOUG JONES, Substitute Trustee, pursuant to a Deed of Trust executed by Eugene Swallows and Alice Swallows unto William J. Campbell, as Trustee, recorded August 5, 2008 in Record Book 144, Page 766 of the Register’s Office of Fentress County, Tennessee, which said Deed of Trust secures a Promissory Note dated August 2, 2008, payable by Eugene Swallows and wife, Alice Swallows to the Union Bank of Jamestown, Tennessee;
WHEREAS, default has occurred in the terms, conditions, and payment of the indebtedness secured by said Deed of Trust and Union Bank of Jamestown, Tennessee, has declared the entire unpaid principal balance of said Note, together with all accrued and unpaid interest, due and payable as provided in said Note and Deed of Trust and has authorized and instructed me, as their duly authorized representative and their Substitute Trustee, to foreclose said Deed of Trust by advertisement of sale at public auction in accordance with the Statutes made and provided therefore.
