Jamestown Resident Jim Bledsoe New Vice-Chairman Of Tennessee Fish And Wildlife Commission

NASHVILLE — Jim Bledsoe, of Jamestown, has been elected as vice-chairman of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission 2014-15. He served as the commission’s secretary the past year.

Mr. Bledsoe was named to his new post at the February meeting of the TFWC. The TFWC serves as the governing body of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Jeff Griggs, of Lexington, was named the TFWC’s new chairman. He served as the group’s vice-chairman for the past year. Lenoir City resident Harold Cannon has been elected to serve in the office of secretary.

Dr. Jeff McMillin, of Bristol, was recognized for his leadership the past year as chairman and presented a plaque of appreciation by new chairman Jeff Griggs. He will continue to serve on the TFWC until 2017.
