HEAVY RAINS CAUSE FLOODING

Heavy rains over the weekend caused flooding of several areas in Fentress County.  The photo above, provided by EMA Director James Bilbrey, shows heavy flooding on Hwy. 127 near Ron’s Restaurant in Clarkrange.  There was also reports of heavy flooding in the Pall Mall area, particularly the Delk Creek area, which caused the road to be closed Sunday.  From Friday morning through 5:00 a.m. Monday, there were reports of from 5” in the Jamestown area to as much as 10”  of rain on the East Rock Quarry Road.
