Grand Jury Returns 16 Indictments

The Fentress County Grand Jury convened on Thursday, December 11 and returned a total of 16 indictments, or true bills, which included five sealed indictments.

The unsealed indictments included the following:

Michael J. McDavid of 97 James White Road, Celina, TN, on charges of Theft Over $1,000 (5 counts) and Theft Under $500 (2 counts).

Bates Jeremy Rich of 1030 Allardt Hwy., Jamestown, on charges of Aggravated Burglary, Theft Over $10,000, Vandalism Under $500, False Report, Driving on a Revoked License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

A second indictment was returned against Rich for Aggravated Burglary, Theft Over $1,000, Vandalism Under $500 and Cruelty to Animals.

Jonathan E. Haley of 121 Taft Story Road, Jamestown, on charges of Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Evading Arrest, and Resisting Arrest.

Gregory Martin Holsapple of 1666 E. First Street, Crossville, TN, charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault.

Bates Jeremy Rich of 1030 Allardt Hwy., Jamestown, on charges of Burglary, Theft Over $500, and Vandalism Over $500.

Jonas Wahquahboshkuk of 101 Tinch Circle, Jamestown, on charges of Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Theft of Property, Felony Evading Arrest, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Robert Paul Wankel of 71 Beasley Lane, Crossville, TN, on charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Felony Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, and Driving on a Suspended License.

Roddie Joe Higgins of 2061 Old Wolf River Road, Jamestown, on the charge of Aggravated Assault.

Lacy Cooper of 408 Patton Heights Circle, Jamestown, on charges of Domestic Assault (2 counts).

Paul Wesley Harris of 153 Northwood Drive, Jamestown, on charges of Theft Over $1,000 (2 counts) and Theft Over $500 (2 counts).
