Four Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

DrugA routine traffic stop and two calls to domestic disturbances resulted in the arrest of three subjects on multiple drug charges during the past week.

On Tuesday, March 11, a routine traffic stop in the Clarkrange area of a vehicle with a headlight out resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old Clarkrange woman after a quantity of drugs were found in her vehicle.

According to reports, an officer from the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle driven by Deanna Rose Miller of  119 Craig Road, Monterey, TN around 11:00 p.m. on March 11.  After making contact with the driver, the officer asked for permission to search the vehicle, which she denied, after which the officer requested that the K-9  Chum Lee” be brought to the scene.  When the dog arrived, Ms. Miller told the officers that she had a roach in her purse in the vehicle.  After the dog made a “hit” on the vehicle, the officers searched the car, and found  a cellophane bag containing marijuana, a cellophane bag containing Hashish, six Marijuana roaches, a glass pipe, and one Alprazolam pill in a purse in the vehicle, after which Ms. Miller was placed under arrest and transported to the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office and booked on charges of Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Thursday, March 13, a call to a domestic disturbance on Minnie Avenue which resulted in the arrest of two subjects on multiple drug charges.
