Tennessee’s First Lady Crissy Haslam is shown above with Pickett State Park staff members while visiting there last week.  Mrs. Haslam stated she was very happy and excited to be able to visit Pickett Park, which is often referred to as one of the “crown jewels” of the state park system.  “We’re actually highlighting our state parks at the Tennessee Residence this Christmas, and artists all across the state are creating ornaments — one from each state park,” she commented.  “We’re highlighting the beauty of our state and the natural landscapes and all the unique features, and our state parks are the place to come to see all that.” she added.  From left to right: Monique Johnson, Travis Bow, Cameron Martin, Mrs.  Haslam, and Pickett State Park Superintendent Alan Wasik.
