Fire units were called out shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14 to a woods fire in the valley below Faith Boulevard off the Gouldstown Road.  Units 1 and 2 of the Fentress County Volunteer Fire Department, along with personnel from the Tennessee Forestry Service battled the fire for several hours to prevent it coming over the rim of the bluff, and had to be called back out Sunday morning before getting the fire under control.  Special thanks to the Fire Department and Forestry Service personnel for the great job they did in controlling the fire.
