Fentress County Fair Quarter Horse Fun Show Set July 9th

The Fentress County Fair Association will be sponsoring an “Open to the World Quarter Horse Fun Show” on Saturday, July 9, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The event will feature 15 classes and offer $1,420 in prize money.

All classes will pay $30.00 for first place; $20.00 for second, and $10.00 for third, except for the lead line class for child riders 7 years and under, in which each participant will receive a ribbon; the calf scramble class for children 10 years and under, where the first 20 kids back with a ribbon will receive $3.00; and the Open 3-D Barrel Race and Team Roping Classes, which will return a percentage of the payback.

There will be a 2-minute gate call, which will be enforced at judges’ discretion.

No refund at entry table for scratches.

Note:  The arena will be dragged before class 8 and after class 11 — NO EXCEPTIONS.

Participants in Class 4 cannot participate in Class 6.

The Fentress County Fair Association and Committee members will not be responsible for any injuries during show.

Admission will be $3.00 for adults; $2.00 for children ages 6-12, and children 5 and under will be admitted free.
