Elizabeth Pendergrass Seeks City Council Post

lizpaperElizabeth Pendergrass has announced that she will be a candidate for the position of Alderman, City of Jamestown in the upcoming November election, and issued the following statement.

“I am Elizabeth Pendergrass and I would like to take this time to ask for your consideration to serve as one of the five Jamestown City Aldermen.  I have been blessed to work and live in the City of Jamestown.  My husband, Shane, and I have 5 children who we strive to raise with small town values and strong morals.  I am committed to work to see that Jamestown lives up to its potential so that future generations can live, work and enjoy our special city.

“As a resident of Fentress County, I would like to see community leaders come together to work on solutions toward local problems that arise.  I have been closely involved with a variety of community programs and projects; from coaching soccer to volunteering on various boards and committees over the years.  During this campaign, I hope to visit with citizens to discuss my vision for the city, and hear their feedback on how we can all work together to make Jamestown a home we can all be proud of.

“I am willing to roll up my sleeves and do what it takes to make our community better, and I will provide strong and effective representation for the citizens of the City of Jamestown.”

Thank you,

Elizabeth Pendergrass
