Dedication Ceremony For New Fentress Co. Justice Center Set For Monday, June 29 at 2 p.m.

County Executive J. Michael Cross has announced that the Dedication Ceremony for the new Fentress County Justice Center has been set for Monday June 29th, 2015 at 2 p.m. Central Time.   The ceremony will take place in the main courtroom in the new facility on Justice Center Drive off Rugby Avenue.

The program will begin with a welcome  and call to order by Fentress County General Sessions Judge Todd Burnett, followed by the presentation of Colors by American Legion Post 137 Honor Guard.

Mr. Bob Washburn, minister to inmates, will then give the invocation, followed by introduction of guests by Judge Burnett.

A Proclamation of Dedication and recognition of VIPs will then be given by Fentress County Executive J. Michael Cross, followed by introduction of office holders in the Justice Center by Judge Burnett.

Local Attorney James P. Romer of Romer, Lane and Howard, PLLC will then introduce the Keynote Speaker for the event, the Honorable Sharon Lee, Chief Justice, Tennessee Supreme Court.

There will be musical entertainment by the Kirby Quartet, a slide show presented by Kevin Baz, and refreshments provided by Swafford & Sons IGA and Cheryl’s Sweets and More.
