Darren Rudd Is Candidate For Property Assessor Office

Rudd IMG_4876Darren Rudd has announced his candidacy for the office of Fentress County Assessor of Property, and issued the following statement:

“My name is Darren Rudd and I am announcing my candidacy for Assessor of Property for Fentress County.

Let me tell you a little about myself, first and foremost, I am a God fearing man.  I have 30 plus years of both commercial and residential experience in the construction field, which consists of reading blue prints, building of projects, and working employees.  I have been a custom homebuilder as well as a superintendent for a large construction company building Wal-Marts, Sam’s Clubs, Lowe’s and apartment complexes across the southeast.  I oversaw the day-to-day operations that consist of clearing ground, getting the pad ready, erecting of buildings and houses and meeting turnover deadline dates for customers.  I also met OSSHA requirements while maintaining a positive work environment under stressful conditions.  The Lord has blessed me with the ability to understand the building industry and I will apply that knowledge to the assessor’s office.

I am very dedicated to doing the best possible job at whatever task is at hand and will use that same dedication for the people of Fentress County.  I understand that the duties of the property assessor’s office are important and I will hire dedicated, honest, knowledgeable and friendly staff to serve you, the people of Fentress County.  My staff and I will stay educated on current up to date duties of the Assessor’s office.

I also have the privilege of being the announcer for the York Dragons Friday Night Football on the Mountain home games.

I am the owner of Darren Rudd Auction Company, Inc. along with my wife Rhonda Rudd and our son Steadman Rudd.  We have helped organizations, groups and many, many families over the past 10 years with benefit auctions to help meet their needs.  Now we need you.  We would greatly appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming August 4th election.

Thank you,

Darren Rudd
