Crossville Man Arrested In Connection With Breakin At East Fork Stables



B&EA 43-year-old Crossville man has been arrested and faces multiple charged in connection with a breakin and burglary in Fentress County.

According to reports from the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office, Edward Junior Sherrill of 335 Doris Circle, Crossville, was taken into custody at the Crossville Wal-Mart on March 5 and charged with Burglary and Theft Over $10,000 and Vandalism Over $1,000 in connection with the January 26 breakin and burglary of East Fork Stables in Jamestown.

The burglars also broke into a tool shed at the facility and made off with several thousand dollars worth of equipment, including chain saws and various other tools.  They also took a vehicle from the facility, along with other keys and miscellaneous items, valued in excess of $13,000.

Other individuals are also being sought in connection with the breakin as the investigation continues.

Mr. Sherrill is currently free n bond pending a hearing in General Sessions Court.
