County Looks to Tackle ADA Compliance Issues

The Americans with Disabilities Act, more commonly known as the ADA, is a sweeping piece of legislation aimed at ensuring that equal opportunity is provided to disabled persons throughout the United States. Signed into law in the early 90s, the ADA puts in place a number of requirements that must be met, specifically by government entities, to achieve this goal.
