Clarkrange Man Is Charged In Marijuana Growing Operation


A joint effort by the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office and the TBI Drug Task Force (HIDTA) unit on April 17 resulted in the seizure of some 134 marijuana plants and the arrest of one subject.

On Thursday, April 17, agents from the TBI Drug Task Force and Sheriff’s Office personnel executed a search warrant at the residence of Yoel Ernesto Perez  Perez, located at 558 Shelby Way, Clarkrange.

Inside the residence, officers discovered an elaborate indoor marijuana growing operation, which included plant growing equipment and supplies such as sulpher lights, carbon monoxide emitters, fertilizers and other materials commonly used in the manufacture of marijuana indoors.
