15 Cases Heard In April 18 Session of Criminal Court

Criminal Court was held in Fentress County on Monday, April 18 before the Honorable Shayne Sexton, with a total of 15 cases heard.

Johnny Robert Lane of Ashburn Road, Monterey, TN, entered a guilty plea to the charge of Possession of Methamphetamine over .5 grams, and was fined $2,000 plus $1,091 in court cost, and a $3,000 donation to the Fentress Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Drug Fund, and was placed on supervised probation for 8 years.

Robert Sidenstick, II and Lori Calton Sidenstick of Grimsley Hills, Jamestown, each pled guilty to the charge of Sale of Schedule IV Controlled Substance and each was fined $2,000 plus $1,134 in court cost, $15 restitution, a $250 forfeiture to the Fentress Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Drug Fund, and was placed on supervised probation for 2 years.

Joshua Lee Carroll of Gala Lane, Pall Mll, TN, entered a guilty plea to charges of Aggravated Burglary (2 counts), Vandalism Under $500, Theft Over $1,000 and Evading Arrest.  He was sentenced to serve 8 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections and make $1,405 restitution.

Nathan Conatser of Banner Springs Road, Jamestown, pled guilty to charges of Evading Arrest (2 counts) and Possession of Meth, and a sentencing hearing was set for May 23.

Ronald Lewis Whited of Shaver Lane, Clarkrange, TN entered a guilty plea to charges of Aggravated Burglary and Theft Under $500, and was sentenced to serve 5 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections and make $60 restitution.

Richard Thomas Glover of Apache Rd., Jamestown, pled guilty to the charge of Assault and was sentenced to serve 11 months and 29 days in jail, and pay $762.50 court cost.

James Clifton Davis of 127 South, Clarkrange, entered a guilty plea to charges of Felony Evading Arrest and Assault, and was sentenced to serve 2 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

Kady Cooper of Manson Road, Jamestown, received judicial diversion on charges of Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance and Theft Over $500 and was sentenced to pay $1,159 in court cost, $262 restitution, $1,750 donation to the Jamestown Police Dept., and was placed on supervised probation for 3 years.

Robert Vanderhoof of Overlook Cove, Crossville, TN, pled guilty to charges of Burglary and Coercion of a Witness, and received a sentence of split confinement of 6 days in jail and 4 years supervised probation, and pay $739 court cost.

Jeffery Wayne England of Mill Road, Wartburg, TN, entered a guilty plea to the charge of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Oxycodone) and was sentenced to serve 3 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections.
