Jamestown’s newest and most unique store is now open on North Main Street.

The 127 Gallery, owned and operated by Kendall and Tommie Lee Huddleston, officially opened on Friday, June 19 with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by local elected officials, Chamber of Commerce representatives and friends.

Following the opening ceremony, Kendall Huddleston spoke with members of the local news media about the new business, commenting:

“With the interest in antiques continuing to gain, not only locally but nationally, we’re extremely happy to be able to provide a source for quality and unique antiques.

“We have items here as far back as the 1800’s.  We set up with other vendors who rent space and bring their goods in and we sell for them.  We also do a lot of research on prices.  With each market there are things that do well, and there are other things that do well nationwide, so we try to stay on top of what the trends are to make sure our prices are competitive.

“We invite everyone to come and visit us and see the wide variety of items we have.  Also, while we have stated hours of operation, we’re not done until our customers are done.”

Stated store hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
